NID Kurukshetra 2024, Courses, Eligibility, Application Process – Check Here

NID Kurukshetra application form can be had from the official page. The Exam Official will begin the Admission Process for those enrolling in the Graduate Diploma Programme in Design, which is called GDPD. The aspirants opting for B. Des and GDPD courses should meet some of the required factors regarding age and education.

For admission in the course as per choice, the age must not be above 20. Those possessing a date of birth of 1 July 2003 can only apply for it. The students under the SC/ST class should be completing 23 years on 30 July 2024.

Those having an education certificate from a recognized board can opt for this exam. The most important thing to be noted is Science should be the main subject. Those who are above 20 years will be considered for the exam. The aspirants must keep in mind these factors while applying for admission.

For the Bachelor of Degree, there will be 15 seats.

Those opting for the course will be taking admission as per skill and performance and can go through the admission process.

The Courses that are Provided

• Industrial Design
• Communication Design
• Textiles and Apparel Design
• Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD)
• This is the four-year stream provided under NID Vijayawada.
• It will include 60 seats overall.

Bachelor of Design (B. Des)

The course is provided in 8 fields under the NID Ahmedabad Campus.

Master of Design (M. Des)

• You will apply in 19 fields under NID areas for two and a half courses, including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bangalore.
• For this stream, there will be 275 seats.
• There will be 100 seats.
• The institute will declare admission to a four-year Graduate Diploma Programme in Design, but the students can opt for it only when they have 12 and 12 passing certificates.

Eligibility Factor

• The aspirants can pursue this Graduate Diploma Programme in Design course once they have met the following eligibility requirements
• The age must not be above 20 if you wish to decide on this course
• Those students with a birth certificate bearing 1 July 2003 will be considered for the exam.
• Aspirants must clear the 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks to gain admission to the Graduate Diploma Programme in Design. The institute from where they would be completing 10+2 should be renowned, and the marks must be applied.
• The aspirants from a particular class will be given seats as per the decision of the Government of India.

The Process to Apply

• Students must visit the official site.
• Then, the next step would be to enter the academic details, education details, category, and other related details.
• As far as the fee is concerned, you can submit the fee by the medium Debit card. Credit cards and the total amount includes Rs.1500/- if the applicants are from OBC and General class, they will be needed to pay Rs.750/-.
• Those paying by Demand Drafts must dispatch a copy of the form, completing the whole procedure.
