NIT Goa Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon. National Institute Of Technology (NIT) Goa, was founded in 2010, is offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral Degree in the area of engineering. Notwithstanding the constraint of infrastructure, NIT Goa, went up in the NIRF 2024 standings to 87th rank to feature between the 100 Best Engineering Institutes in India and emerged as best among 11 new NIT’s.

Its present campus is under construction and likely to be ready by the year 2024. National Institute of Technology (NIT), Goa was founded in 2010. This is an autonomous institute functioning under the patronage of MHRD, Government of India.

NIT, Goa bids UG and PG programs in Computer Engineering& Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. It also provides a Ph.D. in various Engineering and Science disciplines.

NIT Goa 2024 Application Form

NIT Goa Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon. The application process at NIT Goa for the candidates is online. Applicants must fill the application fee online with the necessary documents and application fee (by the desired course).

• Fill the Application Form if you visit the official website of NIT, Goa.
• Upload Digitized Images of Photograph and Signature.
• Pay for your application fee through credit, debit or net banking.

For Ph.D. Course:

• The application form and other important information for entry to a Ph.D. program may be downloaded from the Institute’s website.
• Application form, duly completed, must include the crossed Demand Draft of INR 500 for General and OBC, and INR 300 for SC/ST candidates.
• The DD should be brought in favor of “Director NIT Goa” payable at Ponda,

The merit or rank list will be prepared on the basis of 40% preference to marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% preference to JEE Main. The final list will be published only after normalization.

Scholarship Details 

• The award of scholarship/fellowship to full-time candidates is awarded pursuant to the Central Government/MHRD norms.
• Each department is offering 20 seats in each discipline of the M.Tech course, out of which 18 seats will be full through CCMT and the remaining 2 seats are meant for the sponsored candidates.
• The institute also offers a scheme of Direct Admission to Students Abroad (DASA) with a consumption of 30 in each branch.
• Parents’ annual revenue should not be more than 1 lakh.
• The organization is offering a 40% reservation in Scholarship for the girls.
• Students must obtain 50% marks over the last examination in order for them to avail of the scholarship.
• Have a good record in academics and extra-curricular achievements.

NIT Goa 2024 Admissions Process

The Institute admits students to the B.Tech degree program on the grounds of ranks obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE(Main) and with this plan of Direct Admission to Students Abroad (DASA) with an intake of 30 students in each branch.

For the M.Tech Programme, the Institute acknowledges students through a valid GATE score followed by CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech Admissions).

The admission for the different courses is based upon the following entrance exams.

Placements

A total of 95% of placements have been recorded this season. CSE branch attained 100% placements by top companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, Suzuki Motors, etc. The highest package offered this year will be 12 LPA and the average was 6.42 LPA.
