Educational Qualification:

• VIII class appearing applicants from government/government-aided / local body schools located in Meghalaya are only eligible to apply for the exam.
• The applicants who are studying from a Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya, and residential schools which are managed by the central and state governments are not eligible to apply for the NMMS Exam conducted by the authority.

Qualifying marks:

• Minimum 55% marks in the class VII promotion exam should be scored by general category applicants.
• At least 50% marks in the class VII promotion exam should be scored by reserved category applicants.

The annual income of parents:

• The annual income of the parents of the applicants should not exceed Rs 1,50,000/- lakhs in order to apply.

• In three sessions of two parts, as mentioned below, the entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode on a single day:
  1. Part 1: MAT (General Mental Ability Test) – 90 questions of 90 marks.
