Educational qualification:

• For the entrance exam, those applicants are eligible to apply who are studying in SSC in any of the Government / private schools / Kendriya Vidyalaya / navodaya Vidyalaya as or any other type of school recognized/affiliated with JKBOSE or CBSE.
• One must have completed the IX class from a recognized primary school.

Qualifying marks:

• One should score more than 60 % marks in the qualifying exam if they belong to the general
• However, the applicants who belong to a reserved category should score a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

• The official authorities of the university will provide 120 minutes to the applicants (two hours) to solve the entire question paper.

The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of two papers as mention below:

• Mental Ability Test (MAT) (100 questions of 100 marks)
• Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (100 questions of 100 marks)
• In the entrance exam applicants have to appear MCQ-type objective questions only.
• The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks in total.
• Each question in the question paper of the entrance exam will contain one mark.
