OUCET 2023: Counselling (Started), Dates, Result, Rank Card, Admission Procedure

OUCET 2023 CPGET 1st Phase Counselling has been Started on 5th September 2023. The Examination was held from 30th June to 10th July 2023.  The OUCET 2023 is an entrance exam conducted annually by the official authorities of Osmania University. The OUCET 2023 entrance exam is known as the Osmania University Common Entrance Test 2023. The main motive behind conducting the OUCET 2023 entrance exam is to provide admission to eligible candidates in various Graduate Courses. The candidates who will clear the OUCET 2023 entrance exam will be able to get the opportunity to get admission to various universities such as Osmania, Kakatiya, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana, Telangana, Palamuru, and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

The OUCET 2023 entrance exam will be conducted at the university level. The OUCET 2023 entrance exam is now called the CPGET 2023. The CPGET is fully known as the Common Post Graduation Entrance Test. The candidates who qualify for the OUCET 2023 entrance exam can get admission in various P.G. – Post-Graduate Courses such as M. Sc., M. Com, and M. A., P.G. Diploma courses, and five-year Integrated courses. Besides CPGET, the OUCET 2023 entrance exam is also known as the TS CPGET 2023 and OU PGET 2023.

OUCET 2023 Application Form

OUCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: An Indian National can only apply for the entrance exam.
• Age limit: No minimum or maximum age limit for the candidates to apply for the entrance exam.
• Minimum Marks: The candidates must have secured not less than 40 % marks or more in the qualifying exam.
• Appearing candidates: The candidates who will pass out in the current academic year are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for M. A. course

• Educational Qualification: The candidates must have completed any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution in any stream.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Com course

• Educational Qualification: The candidates must have completed their B. Com degree from a recognized university or institution.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Sc. course

• Educational Qualification: The candidates must have completed their B. Sc. degree with a 10 + 2 + 3 education system from a recognized university or institution.

OUCET 2023 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: In offline mode, the official authorities will conduct pen and paper-based entrance exams.
• Duration of Exam: 1 hour 30 minutes will be given to the candidates to solve the entire question paper of the entrance exam.
• Language of Exam: In English only, the candidates must solve the entire question paper.
• Total Number of Questions:100 questions will be asked in the entrance exam question paper.
• Total marks: 100 marks question paper must be answered by the candidate in the entrance exam.
• Type of Questions: MCQ that is Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the entrance exam question paper.
• Marking Scheme: The candidate’s correct answer will be awarded one mark in the entrance exam.
• Negative Marking: No provision of negative markings in the entrance exam for any incorrect or unattempted answers.

OUCET 2023 Preparation Tips

OUCET 2023 Admit Card

The OUCET 2023 Admit Card of the candidates eligible to appear for the entrance exam will be made available a week after the commencement of the entrance exam. The OUCET 2023 Admit Card will be made available online mode. Candidates can get their OUCET 2023 Admit Card on the university’s website.

The candidates cannot appear for the entrance exam without a hard copy of the OUCET 2023 Admit Card. The OUCET 2023 Admit Card is the candidate’s hall ticket to appear for the entrance exam. The candidates must use their application number and date of birth to download their OUCET 2023 Admit Card from the official website. After downloading the OUCET 2023 Admit Card, the candidates will have to fix their passport-size photograph in the space of the photo.

The candidates must also take some copies of the OUCET 2023 Admit Card for the safe side. Afterwards, the candidates must carry their hard copy of the OUCET 2023 Admit Card to the examination venue. The concerned authorities of Osmania University will prepare the OUCET 2023 Answer Key. The official authorities of Osmania University will release the OUCET 2023 Answer Key to reference the candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam.

The candidates can check the OUCET 2023 Answer Key on the official website of the university with the help of their login credentials.

The OUCET 2023 Answer Key will be made available in PDF format. The candidates can object to the OUCET 2023 Answer Key if they find any discrepancies. The official authorities will prepare a final OUCET 2023 Answer Key, which will be released along with the entrance exam results.

OUCET 2023 Cut-Off

The OUCET 2023 Cut Off is the minimum qualifying mark that needs to be secured by the candidate in the entrance exam to get eligible for admission to the university. Just like the admit card, the OUCET 2023 Results will be released by the official authorities. The candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam will be able to get the OUCET 2023 Results.  The OUCET 2023 Results will be released by the official authorities soon after the completion of the entrance exam.

The candidates can get the OUCET 2023 Results on the official website with the help of the application number and password. In the second week of July 2023, the official authorities will release the OUCET 2023 Results. The candidates must visit the university’s official website to download the OUCET 2023 Results.

After downloading the OUCET 2023 Results, the candidates must take some extra copies for future usage. The candidates must note that the official authorities will not send the OUCET 2023 Results in offline mode or in person. The candidates will be able to see the details such as total scores secured in the entrance exam, subject-wise score secured, name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, and many other details mentioned in the OUCET 2023 Results.

The OUCET 2023 Results must be kept safe with the candidate for future use. The candidates must provide their OUCET 2023 Results during verification in the counselling session.

OUCET 2023 Counselling Session

In August 2023, the official authorities will organize an OUCET 2023 Counselling Session for deserving candidates. The candidates must check all the notifications and instructions regarding the OUCET 2023 Counselling Session schedule from the official website. The OUCET 2023 Counselling Session will be conducted online mode. To provide final admission to the institution, the official authorities will conduct a web-based counselling session for the candidates. The OUCET 2023 Counselling Session will consist of procedures such as registration, choice filling process, seat allotment procedure, document verification, etc.

The candidates who want to appear for an online OUCET 2023 Counselling Session must register themselves. Registration can be done after the completion of the entrance exam. After that, the candidates will have to appear for the OUCET 2023 Counselling Session on the scheduled date and time as mentioned on the official website by the official authorities.

After completing the OUCET 2023 Counselling Session, the candidates will get the seats allotted by the authorities. Once the seats are allotted to the candidates, they must report to the allotted institution.

When reporting to the designated centre, the candidates must carry their original and attested copies of the documents.

After the document verification procedure, the candidates will receive a provisional admission letter from the authorities.

After that, the candidates will have to pay their admission fees. The candidates who have completed the process of paying the admission fees will be able to confirm their admission to the institution.
