PGIMER 2024 January Session INI-CET Online Counselling will be Started in December 2023. The PGIMER is short for the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, situated in Chandigarh and Provides medical research and training to the aspirants. 

Post the result, they will participate in the counselling per the merit list. This exam is held twice a year. Getting through PGIMER, they will be taking admission in postgraduate courses, namely MD, MS, and many more. You will get admission following the performance on the Merit List.

The students must be available during Counseling with the necessary documents. The result will be declared post the conclusion of the exam. The result will incorporate the student’s name, total marks, and ranks obtained in the exam.

PGIMER 2024 Counseling

The PGIMER Counseling Procedure is conducted offline at the campus of PGIMER.

The counselling procedure will be performed in 4 rounds, and applicants who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called out for the counselling procedure. The PGIMER Counseling 2023 will be conducted in 4 rounds.

PGIMER 2023 Jan. Session Result for MD/MS Course will be Declared in November 2023. During the counselling procedure, candidates must carry the required documents for verification.

The counselling fee should be paid through candidates. As per the marks of the candidates, admission will provide to the candidates.

The Counseling Process 

The eligible students will have to report to the college venue. They will be invited for PGIMER counselling following the rank you might be getting on the merit list.

It is necessary to be available while counselling and those who are not available on the day of the second round of counselling will not be given admission.

This kind of student will be present for succeeding counselling. Supposing an aspirant attends the counselling post their turn, they will be eligible for admission into the courses available for a definite time.

PGIMER 2024 Counseling

Participate in PGIMER Counseling; candidates must be present as per their rank and time as specified.

• Aspirants can choose any course as per their preference during the counselling procedure.
• If any candidate wants to get admission in the ‘A’ course, which is not available, they can choose a ‘B’ course on a provisional basis. This seat will be allotted provisionally and can be confirmed in the second round of counselling.
• In case of absentee, the candidate next on the list will be called for PGIMER 2023 counseling process.
• Admission to postgraduate medical courses will be granted based on All India Rank, preferences of courses, and seats available.

Verification of Documents 

Those who produce themselves on the exact date and day the counselling is decided with applicable and appropriate documents for authentication will be given admission.

The soft copy of the document must be shown at the time of PGIMER counselling. Anyone not carrying the required documents will be discarded.

Required Documents for Counseling

Copy of Application Form (To be Downloaded From the PGI website with the help of Login ID and Password). Also, the candidate needs to affix their photograph on the application form.

• PGIMER 2023 Admit Card.
• A valid Identity Proof.
• All original degrees/Testimonials.
• Matriculation Certificate.
• Marksheet of MBBS.
• Internship Certificate.
• Category Certificate (if Applicable).
• MCI Registration.
• Non-Objection Certificate, if the candidate is in Service.
• Disability Certificate in the case of PWD Candidates.
• Any other Document which has been mentioned against the Candidate’s name in the list of eligible candidates for counselling.

PGIMER 2024 Admission Procedure

Those candidates who have participated in the PGIMER Counselling and have been allotted the seats; must report to the respective college at the given period.

Candidates are requested to bring all the required documents to be submitted at the college; all the documents must be taken initially with three sets of Photo/Xerox copies.

Those candidates who will be failed to report to the respective college, the name will be cancelled from the college list. After that, the seat will be allotted to the next candidate.
