The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) to provide admission to candidates in teaching courses offered at Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs).

The Regional Institute of Education offers courses at Bhopal, Mysore, Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, and Shillong, and Prarambh (School of Teacher Education) Jhajjar, Haryana.

The admissions will be granted at B.Sc./ B.Ed./ B.A.B.Ed./ M.Sc.Ed./ B.Ed./ B.Ed.-M.Ed. Programs. The candidates must have a relevant qualifying examination/ degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% for SC/ST/ PWD.
