SAAT 2024 Application Form Last Date has been Extended till 16th April 2024. The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA) Admission Test (SAAT) is a national-level entrance exam. The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA) conducts the SAAT 2024 exam. SOA is a private university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was established in 1986, and the university has been accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).

SOA conducts the SAAT 2024 exam to select students for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by its various institutes. SAAT 2024 Notification – Application Form Released

The online application form for the SAAT 2024 exam has been available on the SOA website since 31st December 2023. The last date to submit the application form is 16th April 2024. The admit card for the SAAT 2024 exam will be available on the SOA website in the 3rd week of April 2024. 

The admit card will contain the applicant’s name, roll number, exam centre, and other important details. The applicant must bring the admit card to the exam hall and a valid ID proof. The SAAT 2024 exam will be held from 20th – 28th April 2024. The result of the SAAT 2024 exam will be announced in the fourth week of May 2024.

The result will be available on the SOA website. The applicant can check their result by entering their roll number and date of birth. The counselling process for admission to the SOA institutes will be held in June 2024. The applicant will be required to participate in the counselling process to secure a seat in the SOA institute of their choice.

What is SAAT?

SAAT, or Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) Admission Test, is the entrance ticket to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs spanning Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Law, Management, and Hotel Management. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University. SAAT 2024 Notification

The SAAT 2024 notification has been released. The Application Form has been Released on 31st December 2023. Registration

Here are the details about the registration for SAAT 2024:

• Starting date of registration: The application form for SAAT 2024 will be available online from the first week of February 2024.
• Mode of registration: The application form can be filled out online only. There is no offline mode of registration.
• Application fee: There is no application fee for SAAT 2024.
• Documents required: The following documents must be uploaded along with the application form: a scanned copy of a passport-size photograph, a scanned copy of signature, proof of identity (e.g., PAN card, voter ID card, driver’s license), and proof of education (e.g., mark sheets, certificates)

Application Fee Payment:

The application fee for the SAAT 2024 exam has been waived. The application fee waiver is a positive step by SOA University and will benefit many students. It will also help increase the SAAT exam’s credibility and make it more competitive.

Required Documents: 

The applicant can upload the scanned copies of these documents and the SAAT 2024 application form. The documents should be clear and legible, and the size of the documents should not exceed the specified limits. 

The applicant should rename the documents with their name and the date of birth. The documents should be uploaded in the correct order. The following documents must be submitted along with the SAAT 2024 application form:

1. Scanned copy of passport-size photograph: The photograph should be recent and in a .jpeg or .png format. The size of the photograph should be within 50-100 KB. The photograph should be of the applicant, taken against a plain white background, with the face looking straight at the camera.
2. Scanned copy of signature: The signature should be clear and legible. The size of the signature should be within 10-20 KB. The signature should be of the applicant, signed in black ink.
3. Proof of identity: The applicant must submit a valid proof of identity. The accepted proofs of identity are:

4. Proof of education: The applicant must submit a valid proof of education. The accepted proofs of education are:

SAAT 2024 Application Correction

SAAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for SAAT 2024 before applying. The eligibility criteria include the required academic qualifications and other requirements for admission. The official SOA will verify the eligibility conditions for SAAT during counselling.

Nationality

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

• For undergraduate courses, the candidate must be born on or after 01.07.2003.
• For postgraduate courses, the candidate must be born on or after 01.07.1999.

Academic Qualification

• Undergraduate courses: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate courses: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

1. Passed or appearing in the class 12 final exam: Candidates must have passed or appeared in the class 12 final exam 2024. Candidates who have already passed the class 12 exam or are currently in their final year of class 12 are eligible to apply for SAAT 2024.
2. Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. This is because these are the two core subjects required for most of the courses offered by SOA University.
3. Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Biotechnology/Biology/Informatics/Statistics/Technical Vocational subject as optional: Candidates must have studied any of the following subjects as an optional subject: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics, Statistics, or Technical Vocational subject. This is because these subjects are considered to be related to the courses offered by SOA University.
4. Secured 45% or more marks: Candidates must have secured 45% or more marks in the class 12 exam (40% for SC/ST/OBC). This is the minimum requirement for eligibility. However, scoring as high as possible in the class 12 exam is advisable to improve your chances of admission to SOA University.

B.B.A Eligibility Criteria:

• Passed or appearing in class 12 exam: Candidates must have passed or appeared in the class 12 exam 2024. Candidates who have already passed the class 12 exam or are currently in their final year of class 12 are eligible to apply for the B.B.A. program at SOA University.
• Any stream: Candidates can be from any stream, whether science, commerce, or arts. This is because the B.B.A. program is a general program that does not require any specific stream.

B.B.A. L.L.B Eligibility Criteria:

• Passed or appearing in the class 12 exam: Candidates must have passed or appeared in the class 12 exam 2024. Candidates who have already passed the class 12 exam or are currently in their final year of class 12 are eligible to apply for the 5-year Integrated Law (BA LLB Hons/BBA LLB Hons) program at SOA University.

B.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

• Passed or appearing in class 12 exam: Candidates must have passed or appeared in the class 12 exam 2024. Candidates who have already passed the class 12 exam or are currently in their final year of class 12 can apply for the B.C.A. program at SOA University.
• Any stream: Candidates can be from any stream, whether science, commerce, or arts. This is because the B.C.A. program is a general program that does not require any specific stream. However, it is advisable to have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in class 12, as this will benefit the course.
• Secured at least 50% marks: Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST & 42% for OBC) in the class 12 exam. This is the minimum requirement for eligibility. However, scoring as high as possible in the class 12 exam is advisable to improve your chances of admission to SOA University.
• Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in class 12: Candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in class 12. This is because Mathematics is a core subject for the B.C.A. program.

• Any stream: Candidates can be from any stream, whether science, commerce, or arts. This is because the B.H.M.C.T. program is a general program that does not require any specific stream. However, it is advisable to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12, as these subjects are essential for the course.
• Secured at least 50% marks: Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST & 42% for OBC) in the class 12 exam. This is the minimum requirement for eligibility. However, scoring as high as possible in the class 12 exam is advisable to improve your chances of admission to SOA University.

B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

• Passed class 12 exam with English as one of the subjects: Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam with English as one of the subjects. This is because English is the medium of instruction for the B.Pharm. program.
• Studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the class 12 exam. This is because these subjects are the foundation for the B.Pharm. program.
• Secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCM/B: Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/B) in the class 12 exam. This is the minimum requirement for eligibility. However, scoring as high as possible in the class 12 exam is advisable to improve your chances of admission to SOA University.

 B.Sc. Agriculture Eligibility Criteria

• Passed or appearing in class 12 exam: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the class 12 exam in 2024. Candidates who have already passed the class 12 exam or are currently in their final year of class 12 are eligible to apply for the B.Sc. Agriculture program at SOA University.
• Secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories): Candidates must have secured at least 50% (40% for reserved categories) in the class 12 exam. This is the minimum requirement for eligibility. However, scoring as high as possible in the class 12 exam is advisable to improve your chances of admission to SOA University.
• Studied one of the subject combinations among PCM/PCB/PCMB: Candidates must have studied one of the subject combinations among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) at the 10+2 level. These subjects are the foundation for the B.Sc. Agriculture program.
• Passed in English at the 10+2 level: Candidates must have passed in English at the 10+2 level. This is because English is the medium of instruction for the B.Sc. Agriculture program.
• Candidates must be at least 17 years old: Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before the first day of the academic session. This ensures the candidates are mature enough to handle the program’s rigours.

 M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Passed or appearing in the B.Tech. Exam: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the B.Tech. Exam in 2024 in the relevant field. This means that candidates who have already passed the B.Tech. Exam or are currently in their final year of B.Tech. are eligible to apply for the M.Tech. program at SOA University.
• Relevant field: Candidates must have passed the B.Tech. Exam in a relevant field. This means that the B.Tech. degree must be in a field closely related to the M.Tech. program the candidate is applying for.
• Obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the B.Tech. Exam: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the B.Tech. Exam. This is the minimum requirement for eligibility. However, scoring as high as possible in the B.Tech is advisable. exam to improve your chances of getting admission to SOA University.

SAAT 2024 Exam Pattern 

The SAAT 2024 exam will be a 2-hour exam that can be taken offline or online. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions, with four answer choices for each question. The exam will be in English only, and candidates will receive four marks for each correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. This means that candidates must carefully answer only a few questions correctly, which could result in a negative score.

• Mode of examination: The SAAT 2024 exam will be conducted offline and online. Candidates can choose the mode that best suits their needs and preferences.
• Number and Type of questions: There will be 120 questions, all of which will be multiple-choice (MCQs). This means that candidates will need to carefully read each question and select the answer that they believe is correct.
• Language of examination: The exam will be conducted in English only. This means that candidates must be proficient in English to take the exam. They should practice answering questions in English before the exam to ensure they are comfortable with the language.
• Time/Duration: Candidates will have 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete the exam. This is enough time for candidates to answer all the questions, but they must manage their time wisely to complete the exam on time.

B.Tech Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of SAAT 2024 comprises the mode in which the exam will be conducted, the duration of the exam, the marking scheme, the subjects and the questions that will be asked in each section.

B.B.A Exam Pattern

According to the exam pattern of SAAT BBA 2024, candidates will have to answer 120 questions. The duration of the exam will be two hours. The exam was held online and offline; questions will be asked in English.

B.B.A. L.L.B Exam Pattern

SAAT 2024 Syllabus

The SAAT 2024 syllabus varies depending on the course. For undergraduate courses, candidates must study the syllabus of class 12th standard, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, English, and general knowledge.
