The company was formed in 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly, Sido Kanhu Murmu University is a public university that is in Dumka, Jharkhand. At present, SKMU is offering B.A. (Hons.), B.Sc. (Hons.), B.A., B.Sc., BLIS, M.A., M.Sc., MCA, M.Com, MBA, and Ph.D. courses at UG, PG & Doctorate level.

Candidates are able to apply online with a visit to the official website. The Candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in conjunction with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Professional subjects employing at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category). The selection of candidates would be based on their performance in the respective Entrance Examinations.

Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the various disciplines of Sociology, Geography, commerce, etc. SKMU is also proposing research and vocational programs. The university offers a semester course system i.e. an even semester and an odd semester. The result of the examination will be uploaded on the University’s internet site. Candidates are able to apply online for the entrance exam if you visit the official website of the SKMU. Students are advised to follow the below-mentioned steps at a time when the application:

SKMU 2023 Result

The university is conducting the examination twice in one year i.e. it follows the semester examination pattern. The university will download the result on its official website.

Admission to SKMU is subject to a valid score in the entrance test conducted by the University. Application to the various programs offered by the university is online.

SKMU 2023 Admissions Process

SKMU offers 3 Years full-time Ph.D. program in Social Sciences. Admission to the Ph.D. program is provided on the basis of marks received in the written test followed up by the interview.

Admission to MBA & MCA programs is awarded on the basis of the SKMU entrance test or on the basis of a rating of MAT by AIMA & AIMCET score accordingly. Admission will be pure basis on the merit and rank scored in the entrance exam conducted by SKMU.

It also offers M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, and MCA programs at the PG level. In the case of B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, B. A (Hons.) and The B.Sc (Hons.), the candidate should have passed class XII with a minimum of 50% marks.

For PG courses, the candidate must have a graduation degree in the relevant discipline. For M.A, M.Sc and M.Com admissions are being given on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. MAT and AIMCET are considered for admission to MBA and MCA respectively.

SKMU 2023  Selection Procedure

Application forms are available only in the online mode and can be availed from the official website of the university. Candidates have duly completed the form cautiously meeting the deadlines.
The university also offers a Ph.D. in the social sciences on the basis of marks scored in the post-graduation in the relevant discipline.

In the case of Ph.D., applicants are required to qualify for the written entrance exam although those valid CGIR-NET, GATE, or UGC-NET scores will give priority. For Ph.D., the candidate must master degree in the relevant discipline with an aggregate of 60%. Relaxation of 5% is given to SC/ST candidates.
