The SRFTI is completely known as Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, and this institute has conducted the common written entrance test for the candidates to provide admission to the candidates in various film and television programs.

• Candidates will be called out for the counselling procedure if they are shortlisted in the merit list per their marks obtained in the SRFTI.
• During the counselling procedure, applicants should present the required documents, and the seats will be provided to the candidates after the verification.

SRFTI Admission Procedure 2024

The admission procedure of SRFTI is mentioned below for the candidates who have to follow it.

• Applicants can fill out the application form for SRFTI based on their eligibility criteria, and they have to submit it with the required documents.
• They should have to score qualified marks in the examination to be shortlisted in the merit list through the authority.
• The merit list students will be called out for the counselling procedure, and the selected applicants must have to reach at the counselling centre on the provided schedule through the authority.
• The complete admission procedure will be held for three days, including an interactive orientation course.

The relative distribution of marks among the various stages of the selection process pre-set by the institute is – 

• Written Test: carries a weightage of 25%.
• Interactive Orientation Course: carries a weightage of 50%.
• Interview: carries a weightage of 25
