SUAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• Only Indian nationals must apply for the entrance exam. 

Domicile:

• The candidates who are local or permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh state are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. 

Minimum Marks:

• One must have secured not less than 50 % marks to 60 % marks or more in the qualifying exam in order to apply for the entrance exam. 

Appearing candidates:

• The appearing candidates are eligible to apply for the SUAT entrance exam. 

Exemptions:

• The candidate who holds a valid scorecard of any other national-level entrance exam as mentioned below is exempted from the SUAT 2022 entrance exam. 

For Engineering courses:

• The candidate who has appeared for JEE Main or UPSEE entrance exam is exempted from the SUAT 2022 entrance exam. 

For Law Courses:

• The candidates are exempted from the SUAT 2022 entrance exam if they have cleared the CLAT / LSAT entrance exam. 

For MBA Course:

• Exemption for SUAT 2022 entrance exam will be given to those candidates who will hold a valid scorecard of the CAT / MAT / XAT entrance exam at the time of admission.

For Architecture Courses:

• The candidates with the NATA scorecard have an exemption in SUAT 2022 entrance exam for getting admission.

For MBBS and BDS Courses:

• The candidates who want to get exempted from the SUAT 2022 entrance exam will have to appear for the NEET entrance exam. 

Eligibility Criteria for Under Graduate – UG Courses Admission

• Age limit: The candidates must be not less than 17 years of age at the time of admission in order to apply. 
• Educational Qualification: One must have completed their HSC exam or class 12th exams from a recognized Board / Institution in order to apply for the entrance exam. 

Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate – PG Courses Admission

• Age limit: The candidates must be not less than 21 years of age at the time of admission in order to apply. 
• Educational Qualification: One must have completed them Under Graduate – UG degree (Bachelor’s or Graduation in relevant field) or any equivalent degree from a recognized Board / Institution in order to apply for the entrance exam. 

Eligibility Criteria for Doctoral Courses Admission

• Age limit: The candidates must be not less than 23 years of age at the time of admission in order to apply. 
• Educational Qualification: One must have completed their Post Graduate – PG degree (Master’s in relevant field) or any equivalent degree exams from a recognized Board / Institution in order to apply for the entrance exam. 

SUAT 2022 Exam Paper Pattern
