TN Health Admission 2024 Application Form

On the official website of Tamil Nadu Health Organization, the TN Health Admission Application Form will be available for Paramedical Degree Courses, and those applicants are wishing to get admission to various professional programs; they can fill the Application Form through the following simple steps mentioned below.

• First of all, applicants must have to visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Health Organization.
• Candidates have to download the application form after registering themselves and using login id. 
• In the application form, applicants should have to fill in all the correct and complete details and affix the required documents.
• The candidates have to make a payment of Rs.3000/- for General Quota and Management Quota Rs. 5000/- (Non-refundable) towards the cost of application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card/Net Banking
• They have to send the filled Application Form and scrutiny form with necessary enclosures at the given address.

TN Health Admission Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must have to check their Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form and the eligibility criteria details are

• The candidate should be a citizen of India and the Nativity of Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates who are Native of Tamil Nadu and who have studied 6th standard to 12th standard in schools of Tamil Nadu need not submit their “Nativity Certificate.
• Permanent Residence Certificate in Lieu of Nativity Certificate will not be accepted.
• The Certificate of Nativity in Tamil Nadu of the candidate should be
  issued by the competent authority only and supported by a copy of Passport / Aadhar / Voter’s ID/ Driving License. If the copy of the supporting document is not produced, then the online application will be summarily rejected.
• Candidates must be the citizen of India and overseas citizens of India registered under Section 7 A of the citizenship Act, 1955 (Centra Act 57 of 1955) are eligible to apply for MBBS/ BDS course. 
• Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December
  2024. (Those who were born a few days later can also be included).

TN Health Admission 2024 Merit List  

The TN Health Admission 2024 Merit List will be Released soon. Those applicants will have qualified marks in the previous qualifying examinations with the same group of subjects; they will be selected in the merit list. Candidates can check their name mentioned in the Merit List. 

TN Health 2024 Counseling 

As per all categories of seats for Medical, Dental, and Para-Medical courses, through counseling, following the rule of reservation, choice of candidates, and availability of seats, applicants will be selected for admission.

Those will be eligible, they will get Call Letter for counseling and they should have to be present there on the provided schedule. 

The applicants need to carry the required documents at the counseling session and fill the counseling form with all the required details. Candidates have to fill and lock their choices for the MBBS course in all categories of seats. 

TN Health 2024 Admission Procedure

Candidates will be able to get admission to this institute through the following admission procedure mentioned below.

• Applicants will be selected for admission to government/ self-financing medical institutions as per marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the prescribed science subjects at the qualifying examination. 
• Those will have total marks computed to a maximum of 200, they will be selected for ranking and applicants will be selected for seats under category I and Category II under the respective courses based on merit, choice filling, seats available, and rule of reservation.

Calculation of Marks

• Weighted total marks for a maximum of 200
• Percentage in biology (X)
• Percentage in physics and chemistry taken together (Y)
• Percentage in botany and zoology are taken together (Z)
• Weighted total marks for a maximum of 200 Either (X+Y) or  (Z+Y)

TN Health Admission 2024 Reservation Criteria

The seats will be reserved for the candidates through these criteria such as

• Open competition 31%
• Backward classes 30% (Within 30% reservation for BC, 3.5% reservation will be provided for BC Muslims)
• Most backward classes/ De-notified communities 20%
• Scheduled castes 18%
• Scheduled castes Arunthathiyar (16% of 18% SC seats)
• Scheduled tribes 1%
