The TS DEECET stands for Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test. The Department of School Education on behalf of the Government of Telangana is the official authority to conduct the entrance exam for the applicants. With the help of the entrance exam applicants will be able to get admission in two years’ Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) course in Government District Institution of Educational Training (DIETs) and private Elementary teacher training institutions in Telangana.

TS DEECET 2020 Online Application Form has been released on 13th March 2020. The Last Date to Submit Application Form is 27th June 2020. TS DEECET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The important information related to the eligibility criteria is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

Nationality:

• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

Domicile:

• One should be a permanent resident of Telangana state in order to apply for the admission procedure.

Educational qualifications:

• In order to get admission, one must have passed the intermediate exam or any equivalent from a recognized university.

Appearing applicants:

• Such appearing applicants are also eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

Qualifying marks:

• In order to appear for the admission procedure, general category applicants should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• However, applicants who belong to a reserved category should score a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam

Age criteria:

• The lower age limit for the applicants to apply for the admission procedure is more than 17 years at the time of admission.
• The upper age limit is not yet decided by the authorities.

TS DEECET 2020 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: The entrance exam consists of will be conducted in online mode (computer-based test).
• Number of Question: Applicants need to answer around 100 questions in the entrance exam.
• Type Of Question: Official authorities will ask objective type questions in the entrance exam.
• Duration of Exam: Applicants will get two hours thirty minutes to solve the entire paper of the entrance exam.
• Marking scheme: Applicants will get one mark for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: There is no provision of negative markings in the entrance exam.
• Exam Language: The question paper of the entrance exam will be published in Telugu, Urdu and English language.
• Number of Marks: The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of 100 marks.

TS DEECET 2020 Admit Card

TS DEECET 2020 Admit Card will be available in May 2020. Admit card is an identity card of the applicant appearing for the entrance exam and it is also known as hall ticket. Applicants will be able to get the admit card on the official website of the university in online mode.

In order to see the admit card applicants need to use the application number and date of birth. Applicants are instructed to download the admit card from the official website by entering the necessary details in it.

Once the admit card is downloaded applicants need to take a printout of the admit card. And then applicants are instructed to keep the admit card safely till the time of admission procedure.

Examination supervisors will verify the admit card of the applicant at the time of entrance exam so applicants are instructed to carry the admit card along with them at the time of the entrance exam.

TS DEECET 2020 Result

Official authorities will be responsible to release the results of the applicants on the official website of the university in online mode only. There are no other modes available for the applicants to get the result of the entrance exam.

Applicants need to visit the official website of the university in order to check the results. Applicants are instructed to use the admit card number and date of birth in order to check the result of the entrance exam.

TS DEECET 2020 Result will be Declared on 29th May 2020. However, the result of the applicants will consist of details like scores achieved by the applicants in the entrance exam, roll number, name, rank, etc.

Applicants are instructed to download the result from the official website of the university and also take a printout of the result. Applicants need to keep the result safely until the time of the admission procedure.

TS DEECET 2020 Counseling session

The counseling session will be conducted by the official authorities of the university. Official authorities will conduct a counseling session for those applicants who want to get admission in the institution.

However, applicants who want to get admission in the institution needs to be present in person for the counseling session. Applicants will get complete information about the counseling schedule such as date, time, venue, etc. on the official website of the university.
