The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State has organized the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) on the state level to select the aspiring and eligible candidates for teaching jobs in the government schools of Telangana State.

Those applicants who want to teach under government-affiliated schools and colleges of Telangana State for teaching in classes 1st to 5th and 6th to 8^th, must have to apply in the TSTET Examination and also score qualified marks.

TSTET Exam Pattern 2025 

The TSTET exam pattern should be preferred by all of the aspirants for better preparation of the examination. With the help of an exam pattern, candidates can solve the difficulty level of the examination.

• There are basically three papers-Paper-I and Paper-II and Paper-III.
• Paper-I is basically teaching at the Primary level (I-V).
• Paper II is teaching at Upper Primary Level (VI-VIII).

• The question paper carries 150 marks.
• Total no. of questions would be 150.
• The duration of the exam is 1 ½ hrs.
• The question paper consists of questions related to Language-1, language-2, pedagogy, mathematics and environmental studies.
• Each section carries 30 marks.
• In order to qualify the test candidate needs to score 60% marks.
