West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration was founded by an Act of the West Bengal legislature published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, 16 January 2015.

This will be the first university in India that is generated by any State Government exclusively for education teachers. Admission to B.Ed. takes place on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

• Program Fee – The selected applicants need to deposit Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) in cash onsite on the day of counseling for seats-booking and the course fee payable to appropriate colleges.
• Certain guidelines need to follow by all the Deputed candidates and applicants. Firstly, all the Deputed applicants in regard to his/her service with the form must provide an attested copy of M.C. resolution recording obtaining the consent of Service. In addition to this, some additional documentation is also required to submit on the day of joining B.Ed. Programs in various institutions or universities.

WBUTTEPA B.Ed 2023 Merit List

WBUTTEPA B.Ed 2023 Admission

The intending students may apply online for admission to 2-years B.Ed. Program in WBUTTEPA (Erstwhile David Hare Training College) and the Govt. / Govt.-aided / self-financed colleges offering B.Ed. Program in West Bengal (as per the list of Colleges).

The B.Ed. The program shall be of a running time of two academic sessions, which can be completed at a maximum of three years from the date of admission into the program.

20% of seats in the parliament (for self-financed colleges) and 50% of the seats for the WBUTTEPA (erstwhile David Hare Training College), will be reserved for Deputed teachers of classes VI-XII. Appointed teachers mean the teachers serve in the substantive posts.

WBUTTEPA offers a B.Ed program in several subjects for a period of a maximum of three years. Minimum eligibility criteria for B.Ed. program is a candidate must pass in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with minimum 50% marks or BE/B. Tech degree with Science or Mathematics with lowest 55% marks with ME/M.Tech degree. The choice of the candidates can be made on the basis of merit in the qualification examination.
