Assam NEET Counselling 2024: Registration (Started), Merit List – Get Schedule & Procedure Here

Assam NEET UG 2024 2nd Round Counselling has been Started on 5th September 2024. 1st Round Provisional Selected List has been Released on 29th August 2024. Choice Filling has been started on 24th August 2024. Counselling Registration has been Started on 21st August 2024. The Assam NEET for MBBS/ BDS Counselling 2024 for institutes all over the state will start based on NEET 2024. The Assam MBBS admission 2024 will be organized under the supervision of the Directorate of Medical Education Assam.

The candidates who will clear the NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) UG 2024 are eligible to participate in the MBBS Admission and Counselling Process of Assam MBBS Admission 2024.

Centralized counselling conducted by Dibrugarh University will do the seat allotment. The Assam state Counselling will be commencing after the result declaration of NEET.

Eligibility Criteria Assam NEET 2024

• Candidates must be citizens of Assam state.
• The candidate’s Parents should have lived in Assam for over 20 years.
• The domicile condition does not apply to the son/daughter of officers of All India Services working in Assam.
• Candidates must have taken the PCB and English in the 12th class with a total mark of 60%; for the reserved category, candidates require a minimum of 50%.
• Candidate must have taken the 6^th to 10^th class education in Assam state.
• The candidate must have appeared and applied in NEET 2024.
• The candidate should be between 17 to 24 years as of 31^st December 2024.
• The SC/ST candidate’s age limit is three years’ relaxation.

Application Form for Assam NEET MBBS/BDS 2024

• Visit the site dmeassam.gov.in.
• Click on the Link “MBBS/BDS Counselling 2024”.
• Candidates have to read all the instructions carefully.
• Click on “Apply Now”.
• Then enter the data such as personal, academic, address, and others.
• The candidates need to upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature.
• Check all the details and submit the application form.
• Take a printout of the application form and e-challan to deposit the requisite fee in any State Bank of India branch.

Counselling Process for Assam NEET MBBS/ BDS 2024

• Assam NEET MBBS/BDS counselling will be conducted offline at the counselling centres.
• The candidates must fill out the application form for the counselling procedure.
• The counselling fee is Rs. 500, and candidates have to pay the fee.
• During Counselling, candidates are advised to be present with all the necessary documents before the admission committee.
• According to the merit list and order of preference, the seat will be allocated to the candidate.

• Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended

• Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
