CCMT Registration

CCMT 2020 Provisional Admission Letter has been released now. The 3rd Round Seat Allotment Result has been declared on 11th August 2020. The CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des.) is the final process authority of admission in M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des through marks scored in GATE examination.

CCMT Application Form 2020

The Application Form of CCMT 2020 has been available from the 13th May 2020 to the last week of April and those candidates are eligible, they can fill the application form of CCMT through online mode by visiting on the official website.

  • First of all, candidates should have to visit on the official webpage of Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des.
  • Candidates should have to register themselves by entering the required details such as year of exam, registration ID, exam paper, marks scored out of 100.
  • After registration, applicants can fill the application form by filling and submitting the required details such as parent’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, academic qualification details, bank related information and more.
  • They should have to upload the required documents and the file size of the scorecard had to be between 50 KB to 200 KB. The format of the scorecard had to be GIF/PNG/JPG/JPEG/BMP.
  • They need to make the payment of application fees and fill and lock their choices. Candidates have to submit it and take the print out of it for future use.

Application Fee

The applicants need to make the payment of application fee of Rs. 2500 for OC/BC and Rs. 2000 for SC/ST/PwD after the application form was submitted. The payment had to be done through SBI MOPS i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card or e-challan at any branch of SBI.

CCMT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have to check their eligibility criteria before filling the application form of CCMT. The eligibility criteria details provided below.

  • Applying candidates must be qualified in the GATE Score of the year 2018/2019/2020.
  • The applicants must be qualified with at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or 60% for OC/OB candidates. SC/ST/PwD candidates should have secured 6.0 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or 55%. The CGPA/Percentage should have been awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
  • The conversion from CGPA to the percentage or vice versa given by individual Institute/university will not be considered/allowed.
  • Candidates should have certification from any of the professional societies to be eligible.

CCMT 2020 Admission Procedure

The admission will offer to the candidates through the CCMT admission procedure

  • Appearing candidates must have registered themselves through online mode for CCMT and they have to fill their choices across all the participating institutes.
  • The seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of choices filled by the candidates and seat availability.
  • Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee through online or offline mode and they have to report at the allotted center.
  • They need to carry the required documents in the original and self-attested copy of each at the allotted center.
  • At the allotted institute, the seats of a candidate will be confirmed after paying a seat confirmation fee and they can download the provisional seat confirmation letter from CCMT.

CCMT 2020 Result

The result will be released through online mode. The candidates can download the result from the official website. The students can check the result by entering their User ID and password. the merit list also is prepared after the result.

CCMT 2020 Counseling

CCMT Counseling will be organized by the GATE score. Candidates must have a valid GATE 2018/2019/2020 scorecard. GATE 2020 Counselling will be held in three rounds through online mode.

The GATE 2020 will be organized through IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Delhi. The students will be seeking admission by GATE in the course of their choice for postgraduate provided by NITs, IITs, and other organizations

  • Printout of the Registration Form and the locked choices.
  • Provisional Seat Allotment letter downloaded from the CCMT website
  • Self-attested copy of GATE scorecard
  • Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms
  • Original Birth certificate Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Original Mark sheet of Class XII
  • Original Grade/Mark sheets of the qualifying examination for all semesters
  • Original Degree certificate, if completed
  • Original Caste Certificate, if applicable.
  • Original Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable.
  • Proof of payment of Seat Acceptance fee.
  • Three color passport size photographs
  • Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
  • Original Transfer certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
