Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test popularly known as CG PPT is held for the admission of engineering degree in the government and private polytechnic institutions of Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB), also known as CG Vyapam, is the review authority of CG PPT.

Admission is based on the merit of the candidate for the entrance test. The Board of Directors will tentatively invite the CG PPT 2023 Application Form from the Last week of March 2023.

CG PPT 2023 Eligibility

Domicile Eligibility

• Candidate must be a resident of Chhattisgarh.
• Candidates should have the domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh state.

Qualification Eligibility

• The requisite qualification for admission to diploma engineering is 10th or its equivalent examination passed from the recognized board of Chhattisgarh or any other recognized board of India.
• Aspirants have to pass the qualifying examination with Science and Mathematics subjects.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to pass Mathematics and Science separately at the qualifying examination.
• Candidates belonging from the general category have to score a minimum of 35% marks in the qualifying examination (10th). No minimum marks will be required for reserved category candidates, they have to secure only passing marks in 10th/matriculation exam.

Age Criteria

• The age of the applicants should not be more than 30 years as on 1st week of July 2023.
• Candidates whose age is more than 30 years will not be eligible for admission.
