CSAB NEUT 2020: Application, Dates, Eligibility, Merit list, Counseling Procedure

CSAB NUET 2019 Application FormCSAB NEUT 2020 Application Form will be available from the last week of June to the 1st week of July.  The CSAB NEUT is properly known as the Central Seat allocation Board for the North Eastern States and Union Territories.

Through this authority, the seat will be allotted to the candidates 12 North Eastern States & Union Territories (Namely Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep).

There will be the two round of seat allotment conducted through the authority to provide admission to the candidates in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy courses in AICTE approved institutes across the country. CSAB NEUT Application Form 2020

The CSAB NEUT Application Form will be available from the Last week of June to the 1st week of July. Candidates can fill the application form for seat allotment round and spot counseling round. The application form filling procedure has provided below.

  • Candidates should have to register themselves by logging on the official website and to fill the Application Form, the applicants must have to use their JEE Main Application number and password.
  • In the application form, candidates should have to fill all the correct and complete details as provided in JEE Main Registration.
  • Applicants can fill their choices of B.Tech branches and institutes as per their order of preference. The applicants can edit and rearrange their choices before locking because once locked cannot be changed. They have to submit their password to lock their choices. They also have to take the print out of it.

Application Fee

Candidates should have to pay the counseling application fee of Rs.2000/- through offline mode by demand draft. The counseling fee can be paid at the counseling center due to reporting there.

  • Undertaking by the applicant

CSAB NEUT Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must have to check their eligibility criteria before applying the CSAB NEUT. Those candidates will not be eligible; they will not get admission in their aspiring programs. The eligibility criteria details are

  • Candidates should be qualified in B.E/B. Tech course should have passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject and should have obtained at least 45% marks in each subject (40% in case of SC/ST Category).
  • The applicants should have studied mathematics among any 5 subjects and should have scored 50% aggregate to be selected for admission in B.Arch/B. Plan course.
  • Applicants must be qualified in the intermediate or 2-year pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
  • The candidates can also apply on the basis of marks scored in the JEE Main examination.
  • Appearing candidates in final year can also apply in this procedure.

CSAB NEUT Merit List 2020

The CSAB NEUT will upload the final merit list official website and those candidates have filled their choices.

There will be three options provided to the candidates such as Float, Slide, and Freeze. After completing this procedure, applicants will go for the seat allotment.

CSAB NEUT Admission Procedure 2020

Candidates will be allotted on the seats of various Engineering /Technology /Architecture/Pharmacy courses in AICTE approved institutes across the country by following the Admission Procedure.

  • First of all, candidates have to fill the registration form of CSAB NEUT through online mode by visiting the official website.
  • Applicants will get the option of choice filling and locking after registration. They have to fill their choices of course and after confirming it lock the choices.
  • As per the marks obtained in JEE Main, the seat allotment will be done through authority and as per the seat availability candidates can get admission. Allotted candidates can get the allotment letter from the official website.
  • At the Reporting Center, candidates have to carry the seat allotment letter along with required documents for submission. The applicants have to submit the documents for verification and a demand draft of Rs. 3000 (counseling fee) drawn in favor of “NIT Tiruchirappalli CSAB” for provisional admission.


These documents should be carried by candidates at the counseling and seat allotment session.

  • Printout of locked choices and terms and conditions duly signed by the candidate
  • Printout of Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Undertaking by the candidate
  • Original documents and a set of photocopy of the following for verification
  • Photo ID proof as per Government of India norms
  • JEE Main Admit Card
  • JEE Main Score Card issued by CBSE (Downloaded Scorecard is Acceptable)
  • Class X (High School) Board Certificate for proof of date of birth
  • Certificate and Marks Sheet of the qualifying examination
  • Demand Draft of Rs 3000 drawn in favor of ‘NIT Tiruchirappalli CSAB
  • Category/subcategory/caste/sub-caste certificate (if applicable), issued by the competent authority
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Certificate (if applicable) issued from a duly constituted Medical Board. The certificate should stand valid up to September 2020.
  • Proof of place of examination center of the final examination from the National Open School for candidates having Senior Secondary Certificate (required for determining the ‘State of eligibility’)
  • One passport size photograph identical to the one pasted on the JEE Main 2020 application form
