Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test is a State Level entrance examination. Admission will be given to candidates on the basis of merit/rank/score acquire in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024.

HPTU B.Tech (Direct Entry) 2024 Application Form has been started on 18th March 2024. Candidates can go through the application form details which we have mentioned below:

• Interesting and Eligible candidates may fill their application from the official website at https://www.himtu.ac.in/ as per schedule.
• Before filling the online application, applying aspirants are requested to read the instruction for the online application form for admission.
• Register the details such as personal information, communication details, valid Email ID, educational qualifications, and many more.
• After that provide the passport-size photograph and signature of candidates in a specified size, and format.

Application fees

• Candidates will have to pay the amount 1550/- and SC/ST/BPL category candidates will need to submit the Rs. 1400/- as application fees.
• Remit the prescribed fees using the online mode via Net banking, or Debit/Credit cards i.e. Visa Debit Cards (All Banks), MasterCard Debit Cards (All Banks), Other Maestro Card.

Candidates must check the following details regarding HPTU B.Tech (Direct Entry) 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:

• Nationality: Indian nationals can apply for admission.
• Qualification: To apply candidates will have to complete the tenth and twelfth classes from any recognized Board or University.
• Mandatory subjects: candidates will have to pass with mandatory Physics and Mathematics subjects along with one of the subjects from the (Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject). Percentage: candidates have to pass with securing a minimum of 45% marks and candidates of reserved category 40% marks in the above-mentioned subjects acquire together.
• Age criteria: no age is mentioned to apply for admission.
• On the basis of merit/rank/score taken in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), 50 percent of the seat will be provided for admission in B. tech. program. And 50% will be provided bases on the merit of the common entrance examination of Himachal Pradesh
