HPTU BCA 2023 Spot Round Counselling will be started on 18th August 2023. The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is a state-level government university situated in Himachal Pradesh and in the year 2010, this university was founded with the aim of value creation and welfare in society through technical education and training.

The HPTU provides various Under-Graduate & Post-Graduate professional courses in their affiliated colleges/institutes and university off campuses on the basis of marks obtained in the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET).

HPTU BCA Application Form 2023

The HPTU BCA Application Form will be available soon and those candidates are wishing to get admission in the BCA programs from the various affiliated college of the university, they can apply in this program by filling the application form through offline mode.

The application form filling the steps mentioned below.

• Firstly, candidates must have to go on the official webpage of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
• The application form link has been provided to the candidates and they should have to click on it for registration.
• After registering the required details, the login details have been provided to the candidates to fill the application form.
• The applicants should have to fill in all the correct and complete details in the application form.
• They have to upload their scanned required documents such as photographs and signatures.
• After entering all the details, applicants have to submit the application form and get a PDF of it.

Application Fee

Application Fee is Rs.1500/- as one-time University Registration. Online fee payment can be done by using Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Cards. Offline payment can be done by generating PNB Challan.

HPTU BCA Eligibility Criteria

Those applicants will be qualified in 10+2 examination in any stream from a Board recognized or established by Central/State Government through legislation shall be eligible to apply.

Further, the candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination

HPTU BCA Merit List 2023

On the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University, the merit list will be published and those applicants will have obtained qualified marks in the examination, they will be shortlisted in the merit list.

If two applicants have the same aggregate marks in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2, the applicant’s date of birth will be considered.

HPTU BCA Reservation Criteria

The seats will be reserved for the candidates as per their categories.

The minimum/cut off marks to seek admission to BCA degree course on the basis of HPCET-2019 and 10+2 shall be as follows:

HPTU BCA Counseling Procedure 2023

HPTU BCA 2023 4th Round Counseling will be started in November 2023.

The counseling procedure will be conducted through authority and those applicants are selected on the merit list, they will be called out for the counseling session.

At the counseling center, applicants must have to be present on the provided schedule with the required documents for verification.

The admission to BCA shall be made on the basis of merit of HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.

Documents Needed for Admission

For admission, applicants must have to carry these required documents for verification and the documents are

• Certificate of having passed the qualifying examination
• Marks-sheet issued by the Board/University
• Matriculation/Higher Secondary Part-I/Indian School Certificates showing the date of birth
• National Level Entrance Examination/HPCET Score Card.
• Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended.
• Bonafide/Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned Sub-Divisional.Magistrate Executive Magistrate, if applicable.
• Reserved Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable.
• Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if .applicable.
• Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme
• An undertaking/affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme
• Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota
• In case an intervening period/gap is involved, a certificate/affidavit issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public shall be required for the entire intervening period/gap showing the candidate’s preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended.
