HPTU MCA Application Form 2024

On the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University, the HPTU MCA Admission application form has been available on the official website and those candidates are interested and eligible to get admission in the MCA program from the various affiliated colleges of Himachal Pradesh Technical University; can fill the application form through online mode by visiting on the official website. The application form-filling procedure has mentioned below.

• First of all, candidates should have to go on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
• To fill the application form, applicants have to follow the instructions carefully.
• Applicants have to fill the application form with these details such as personal, contact, work experience, academic, and extracurricular details in the form.
• After filling in all the details, applicants have to submit it and upload scanned required documents such as photographs and signatures in the application form.
• The applicants have to pay the application fee by using a credit card, debit card, or net banking and then submit it and also take the printout of it for future use.

Application Fee is Rs.1500/- as one-time University Registration

HPTU MCA Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be qualified in a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level securing at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

HPTU MCA Merit List 2024

The applicants will be selected on the merit list if they will have qualified marks in the previous qualifying examination and HPCET examination. If two applicants have the same HPCET aggregate marks; the candidate with higher marks in Verbal Ability (Section A) will be ranked above. If the Verbal Ability Marks are the same, then a higher Quantitative Ability (Section B) mark would break the tie.

The minimum/cut off marks to seek admission to MCA degree course on the basis of HPCET and Bachelor Degree shall be as follows:

HPTU MCA Admission 2024

HPTU MCA 2024 2nd Round Counseling will be started In November 2024. Admission will be provided to the candidates in the MCA first-year degree course as per marks obtained in the HPCET examination.

In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of recognized Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the Graduate level.

Documents Needed for Admission

The applicants need to carry the required documents for admission

• Certificate of having passed the qualifying examination
• Marks-sheet issued by the Board/University
• Matriculation/Higher Secondary Part-I/Indian School Certificates showing the date of birth
• National Level Entrance Examination/HPCET Score Card
• Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended
• Bonafide/Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate Executive Magistrate, if applicable
• Reserved Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme
• An undertaking/affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme
• Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota
• In case an intervening period/gap is involved, a certificate/affidavit issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public shall be required for the entire intervening period/gap showing the candidate’s preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended.
