IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2024, Qualification, Age – Check Here Category Wise Eligibility

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in Delhi prescribes the eligibility criteria for the IIFT entrance examination. By the IIFT 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or college to apply for the exam. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible.

IIFT Exam has been Scrapped from this year 2024-2025, for admission to IIFT’s two-year MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) programmes, the Institute will consider the score of the CAT Exam.

IIFT 2024 Eligibility Criteria  Overview

IIFT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for General/ SC/ST/OBC/PH Category

• Candidates must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/college to apply.
• Final-year students are also eligible to apply. However, they would need to submit the relevant academic proof like a certificate of the current semester.
• Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates to apply for the IIFT entrance exam.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Foreign Nationals/NRI

• Foreign nationals/NRI candidates must have a valid GMAT score to apply for the IIFT Exam.
• GMAT score should not be older than February 2022.
• NRI-sponsored candidates are not considered under this category.
• There are certain criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill to apply as a foreign national/international candidate. The following points explain further.
• As of December 31, 2022, a candidate must be (should be) a resident outside of India for at least 18 months and be outside of India during the IIFT Exam period to qualify as international.
• Indian nationals living, working, and studying abroad should produce a certificate from the Embassy, High Commission, and Indian Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based. at least 18 months as of December 31, 2022.
• Foreign nationals must have a valid passport/travel document from a country other than India. Foreign nationals who are present in India at the time of the IIFT entry test are required to take the same.
• The candidate must produce the GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) which must be received by the Institute no later than February 15, 2024. The GMAT performed before January 1, 2022, is not valid.
• If the candidate has taken part in an MBA entrance exam for that year in India (2024), such as CAT / XAT / IIFT, etc., he/she cannot apply.
• Transcripts of all university degrees must be submitted with the application. Notes or notes can be self-reported. Originals must be produced at the time of admission.

Register for IIFT 2024 If you are Eligible

Applicants who meet the IIFT 2024 Eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply for IIFT 2024. The IIFT 2024 Application Form will be available online and offline. Applicants can either fill out the online form or by the same at the institute.

The fees can be paid online or via Demand Draft. Candidates who have completed the Application Form will be able to download the IIFT 2024 Admission card. • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with 50% marks in Graduation (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Candidates appearing in the final year of Graduation can also apply subject to the submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2024.
• No Age limit.

IIFT 2024 Reservation Criteria

• Through IIFT, an overall of 360 seats in IIFT Campuses (Delhi Campus- 220 seats and Kolkata Campus- 140 seats) will be occupied.
• Some seats out of the total sanctioned intake are kept for contenders belonging to minority groups or particular sorts.
• The contenders must be familiar with the reservation policy, in case they are entitled and wish to get off its benefits.

The following are the groups that are considered for the reservation procedure:

1. Other Backward Classes(OBCs)
2. Scheduled Castes (SCs)
3. Scheduled Tribes (STs)
4. Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
