The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in Delhi prescribes the eligibility criteria for the IIFT entrance examination. By the IIFT 2022 eligibility criteria, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or college to apply for the exam. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible.

IIFT 2022 Eligibility Criteria for General/ SC/ST/OBC/PH Category

  • Candidates must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/college to apply.
  • Final-year students are also eligible to apply. However, they would need to submit the relevant academic proof like a certificate of the current semester.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates to apply for the IIFT entrance exam.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2022 for Foreign Nationals/NRI

  • Foreign nationals/NRI candidates must have a valid GMAT score to apply for the IIFT Exam.
  • GMAT score should not be older than February 2021.
  • NRI-sponsored candidates are not considered under this category.
  • There are certain criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill to apply as a foreign national/international candidate. The following points explain further.
  • As of December 31, 2021, a candidate must be (should be) a resident outside of India for at least 18 months and be outside of India during the IIFT Exam period to qualify as international.
  • Indian nationals living, working, studying abroad should produce with a certificate from the Embassy, High Commission, and Indian Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based. at least 18 months as of December 31, 2021.
  • Foreign nationals must have a valid passport/travel document from a country other than India. Foreign nationals who are present in India at the time of the IIFT entry test are required to take the same.
  • The candidate must produce the GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) which must be received by the Institute no later than February 15, 2022. The GMAT performed before January 1, 2021, is not valid.
  • If the candidate has taken part in an MBA entrance exam for that year in India (2022), such as CAT / XAT / IIFT, etc., he/she cannot apply.
  • Transcripts of all university degrees must be submitted with the application. Notes or notes can be self-reported. Originals must be produced at the time of admission.

Register for IIFT 2022 If you are Eligible

IIFT 2022 Reservation Criteria

  • Through IIFT, an overall of 360 seats in IIFT Campuses (Delhi Campus- 220 seats and Kolkata Campus- 140 seats) will be occupied.
  • Some seats out of the total sanctioned intake are kept for contenders belonging to minority groups or particular sorts.
  • It is imperative for the contenders to be familiar with the reservation policy, in case they are entitled and wish to get off its benefits.
