IIT Dhanbad (Indian Institute Of Technology, Dhanbad) was founded as the Indian School of Mines (ISM Dhanbad) in the year 1926. It lies Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Institutes have been recognized by UGC and approved by the AICTE. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Applied Science, Human and social sciences, Management, and Engineering.

Admissions to these courses are performed on the basis of the national level entrance examination. To be eligible for admission, students should comply with the cutoff of the Institute. IIT (ISM) offers courses in the area of Engineering, Sciences, Management, and Humanities with an emphasis on Engineering, Mining, and Earth Sciences.

IIT Dhanbad 2024 Application Form

IIT Dhanbad Admission 2024 Application Form has been Released for Various Courses. Candidates are advised to enroll before the last date of registration after verifying the eligibility to be shown in the exam.

• Candidates can sign up for this exam through an online mode through the website.
• Pass through the official website.
• Enter your registration detail and register yourself.
• Fill all the necessary information such as personal, academic, programs & other related details.
• Upload images scanned of photograph, signature & other necessary documents.
• In the application form, candidates should choose the application for course submitted an application to, percentage, personal details, address and other details of payment application fee.
• Candidates need to keep the print copy of the Application Form, acknowledgment slip, and fee payment Challan.
• Candidates must pay the application fee online through the operation only.
• Admit cards will be available online and printouts of this admit card has to be manufactured at the time of examination.

  • Non – Refundable application fee is payable for Rs. 2000/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC candidates.
  • Non – Refundable application fee is payable for Rs. 1000/- for SC/ ST/ PC/ Women candidates.
  • The application fee needs to be paid through online payment gateway only along with the online application.
• For M.Tech
  • Non-refundable application fee for each program for GATE candidates/ IIT Graduates is Rs. 500/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates. The application fee needs to be paid through online payment gateway only along with the online application.
  • Non-refundable Application fee for each program for all Sponsored candidates is Rs. 2000/- per program.
  • Fees reconciliation may take up to 5-7 days. Hence, please do not make the 2nd time payment. and wait for the same

Reservations

Some seats are reserved for specific categories in every department in accordance with the rules of the Government of India which are as follows.

• Persons with Disability (PwD) – 3% seats in each of OPEN, OBC-NCL, SC, and ST category seats.
