Passing Proof,

• Section A: 30 MCQs, each carrying one mark.
• Section B: 10 MSQs, each carrying two marks.

5. Type of questions: The IIT JAM 2024 exam questions will have three types:

IIT JAM 2024 Cut-Off

The IIT JAM 2024 cut-off marks will be released online by the IIT JAM authorities. Candidates can check the cut-off marks by visiting the official website. The IITs/ IISc and other participating institutes will release the cut-off marks separately for qualified candidates. Admission to these institutions will be based on the cut-off marks. The cut-off marks will be released for each admission round, one by one. The cut-off marks will consist of category-wise cut-off marks for various subjects, as per the subject codes. The institutes will follow the tie-breaking scheme if candidates score the same aggregate marks.

IIT JAM 2024 Counselling 

The IIT JAM 2024 counselling will commence on April 10, 2024, through online mode. Candidates will be selected based on their rank in the exam. The JAM counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds based on the availability of seats after each round.
