Instruction to the Candidate for IIT JAM Admit Card

The candidate should strictly follow the Admit card instruction carefully. A printout of the downloaded Admit Card must be brought to the test centre along with the original and valid photo identification.

• No candidate will be permitted to appear in the IIT JAM 2024 Examination without a valid Admit Card and valid and original ID proof.
• The Admit Card should be presented to the invigilators/IIT JAM officials for verification.
• The Admit Card of IIT JAM 2024 must be carefully preserved by the Candidate and produced at admission if required by the Admitting Institute.
• The Organizing Institute may withdraw the permission granted to a candidate to appear in IIT JAM 2024 if it is found that the candidate is not eligible to appear on the 4th of the exam, even though an Admit Card will be issued and is produced by the candidate before the Presiding Officer of the Test Center.

Some Of The Instructions Needed To Be Followed When Appearing For The Exam With the IIT JAM 2024 Admit Card

• Aspirants are commended for attaching a new coloured size photograph to the Admit card and on the available place.
• The students must be assured of the signature signed by one present during the exam.
• The Admit Card must be brought along with ID proof during the exam, and it must be kept in mind that the ID proof is similar to those provided on the 4th application form.
• It is requested to keep a copy of the Admit card before the end date of loading the Admit card.
• The Admit card will not be sent or mailed to the students under any circumstances.
• They must retain it until the exam is over. You must not be confused if you cannot collect the ID No while loading the Admit card. You need to go to the registration no tab, and then the page will show you many choices and are unable to get the admit cards, it is suggested to contact the Chairman of IIT JAM 2024.
• The person in authority against the photo-id on the decided date of the exam will verify the aspirant’s hall ticket.
• They will have to preserve this all through the exam.

IIT JAM Mock Test 2024 will be started before the examination. The mock test facility is available on the 2024 IIT JAM portal to familiarize candidates with the test pattern.

The purpose of the mock test is only to provide the candidate with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the actual test interface.
