IIT JAM Eligibility 2019 should be checked by candidates before applying. The Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science may have conducted the Joint Admission Test for Masters of Science and Technology (IIT JAM).

General Eligibility Criteria of IIT JAM

  • Before applying, a candidate should have to complete the Bachelor’s degree from the stream of science from a well-known university.
  • Candidates who are graduate via distance studies, they can also apply for this examination.
  • Candidates who belong to General or OBC category they must have gone graduation with at least 55% of marks however candidates who belong to the reserved category, they need to be passed via 50% of marks.
  • The Indian candidates and Foreign candidates both can apply for this examination.
  • Those candidates are appeared or are due to appear in the qualifying degree’s examination in 2017 are also eligible.

IIT JAM 2019 Application Form

IIT JAM 2019 Application From will be Started From 5th September 2018. The IIT JAM provides the best opportunity for the candidate to fill the IIT JAM Application form, who are seeking to get admission for Master degree of Science. The candidates can take admission in the M.Sc (Two years), M.Sc. Ph.D., Joint M.Sc. Ph.D., M.Sc.-M.Tech and other Post-Bachelor Degree Programmes at IITs and Integrated PhD degree programmes at IIT.

Application fee 

The applicants can pay the fee through online mode only, the offline mode is not available to pay the application fee. The fee payment can be done through Debit card/Credit card or net banking.

IIT JAM Exam Pattern 2019

The examination pattern for JAM 2019 helps the appearing candidates to get an idea about the pattern of the question paper. The examination pattern of JAM gives you an idea about the type of questions, distribution of marks, penalty for wrong answers and many other important details.

JAM Counselling procedure 2019

IIT JAM 2019 counseling will be organized after the result announcement of IIT JAM examination. A candidate who falls in the category of merit list will be only applicable to participate in the counseling session of IIT JAM 2019.

The counseling session will be going to be conducted within the second or third week of April.
