Karnataka Polytechnic 2019 Counselling will be Started from June 2019. The board will be offline. The admission procedure of Karnataka Polytechnic is organized by the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Karnataka. It is a state admission procedure for admission to polytechnic institutions of Karnataka State. Admission is offered on the basis of merit prepared in the 10th Council examination notes. Karnataka Polytechnic 2019 Admission Procedure

Offline counseling will be conducted at the designated centers listed on the website. Applicants must register on the website to participate in the counseling.

The process of completing the online forms began on May 7, 2019. The authority will provide advice in different phases depending on the availability of vacancies in the participating institutions. Candidates must choose and block the preference of universities and courses according to the candidate’s choice.

Counseling will take place on different dates depending on the candidate’s rank. Applicants must declare the school assigned before the last prescribed date.

Karnataka Polytechnic Selection Procedure 2019

The candidates are admitted to the various colleges on the basis of their SSLC/10th exam marks.  The authority will publish the matrix of provisional seats of several institutions that grant titles for the convenience of the candidates. Candidates must register on the site and complete the options according to their preferences. Candidates can select universities and courses of their choice. Candidates may complete the elections according to their rank in the list of merits. Candidates can obtain admission to the designated universities before the deadline with the help of the award letter.

Admission to Karnataka Polytechnic will Include two processes:

Selection process:

applicants will be selected based on their performance in the admission exam for admission. On the basis of what merit will be prepared and the candidates will be awarded unique ranks.
Assignment of seats: the assignment of seats will be proposed strictly on the basis of the performance of the candidate for the qualification examination. The merit list will be published by category on the website. Headquarters seats at 50% will be based on the candidate’s 10 / SSLC score or equivalent.

Seat Allotment: 

The seat allotment will be strictly offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam. The merit list will be published category-wise on the website. The seat allotment on the 50% seats will be provided as per the candidate’s marks obtained in 10th/SSLC or its equivalent examination.

Required documents

  • SSLC/10th Mark Sheet and passing Certificate
  • Category Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
  • Character Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Candidates those have passed SSLC from the board outside Karnataka then, candidates have to produce eligibility certificate.
  • 3-4 Passport size photographs.
