Lateral entry admission to 1st week of May 2022 diploma:- An applicant who has passed SSLC or Equivalent Examination with 35% of marks in aggregate and should have passed JTS (3 years course) / ITI (2 Years Course) recognized by Govt. of Karnataka is only eligible for seats reserved under JTS / ITI quota.

Merit Lists for Karnataka Polytechnic 2022

After completion of the entrance test, the answer key will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Karnataka.

The answer key approved by the Expert Committee will be applied during evaluation for the determination of merit order.

The merit list/result is published through online mode only. Applicants’ selection in different diploma courses is based on the merit list.

After the publication of the result, the counseling procedure will be started. The counseling is conducted in offline mode.

An applicant has to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat. Applicants, who get a seat during the counseling procedure have to report to the allotted college to confirm their seat at a given time.

If applicants are unable to report to the allotted college at a given time, the seat will be given to the next applicants.

An applicant does also has to bring the original documents for verification. If any document is found false, the applicant’s candidature will be canceled.

Karnataka Polytechnic 2022 Counseling

After the announcement of the result, an applicant can appear for the counseling process. The counseling will be organized in offline mode.

An applicant has to report any of the 19 online interactive counseling cum admission nodal centers along with original documents. An applicant does also has to bring a Xerox copy of the original documents for verification.

The counseling will be conducted according to the rank. The seat will be allotted to the applicants based on rank, seat availability, number of applicants, etc.
