KIIT University Admission 2018KIITEE is the university-level entrance examination, which is managed through the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, and this examination is completely known as the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam.

KIITEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Those students are going to apply for the examination of KIITEE; they should have to check their eligibility criteria before applying. The eligibility criteria details have mentioned below.

Under Graduate Courses

For B.Tech (4 years)/ B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology (5 years)

  • Candidates who passed 10+2 in 2018, 2019 or appeared in 10+2 standard examinations in 2022 are eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology) the course of the University.
  • Candidates should have studied in regular full-time formal education in their schooling /college.
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics have taken together.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

B.Tech. & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology):

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology taken together.

B.Tech.-LE (3 years)

  • Candidates should have passed 3 years Engineering diploma course with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state or equivalent.
  • To get admission In Tech Lateral Entry (3 years), candidates should have acquired the 3-year diploma in the same branch.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

For B.Tech in Architecture (5 years)

For B.Sc Nursing (4 years)

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics & Biology, and English (PCBE)., and secured at least 45% marks in aggregate.
  • The minimum age of a candidate to take admission for the B.Sc. Nursing is 17 years, and the maximum age should be 35 years as of 31st December 2022.

For B.A. LL.B/ BBA LL.B/ B.Sc LL.B (5 years)

  • Candidates should’ve completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks in any branch.
  • Candidates should not have completed 21 years as of 1st July 2019.

For B.Sc LL.B

  • Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in the Science stream.
  • Candidates should not have completed 21 years of age as of 1st July 2019.

For BBA (3 years)

  • Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks in 10+2 in any stream with Business Mathematics/Mathematics/Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

For BCA (5 years)

  • Candidates should have cleared 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks but Mathematics is one of the subjects in the 10+2 level.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) (4 years)

  • Candidates should have cleared 10+2 standard with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

For Bachelor of Film & Television Production (3 years)

  • Candidates should’ve cleared 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

Master of Mass Communication (Integrated) (5 years)

  • Candidates should have cleared 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

For MCA (3 years)

  • Candidates should have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in which Mathematics is a compulsory subject either in 10+2 standard or in graduation.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

For MCA (L.E) (2 years)

  • Candidates should have cleared or pursuing BCA, B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science/IST/ITM) with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized University.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 01st July 1999.

For M.Tech (2 years)

  • To take admission in M.Tech, candidates should have cleared in B.E. or B.Tech. Or an equivalent degree in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA/ First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC).
  • Those candidates who have qualified GATE shall be accorded preference in the selection process.
  • Candidates who wish to get admission in M.Tech (2 years), should have studied B.E./B.Tech. in the same branch in which they are interested.
  • GATE qualified candidates with a score of 400 or above, need not appear for KIITEE.

M.Sc (Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology) (2 years)

  • Candidates should have an bachelor’s degree in any of the following streams – Pharmacy/Science/ Veterinary/ Agriculture/ Engineering/ Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) – with at least 55% marks.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1999.

M.Sc Nursing (2 years)

  • The candidate should be a Registered midwife or registered nurse or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • The candidate should have passed B.Sc.Nursing/ B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
  • The candidate should have undergone a B.Sc.Nursing/ B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing in an institution, which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Candidate should have a minimum of one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing & should be medically fit.

For Master of Public Health (2 years)

  • The candidate should have an undergraduate degree in any Health Science (BDS/BAMS/BPT/MBBS/BHMS BNYS/ B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/B.Pharm/) discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

For Masters of Hospital Administration (2 years)

  • The candidate should have a qualified undergraduate degree in BHMSBNYS/ BPT/ MBBS/ BDS/ B. Pharm/ BAMS/ B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/ B.Sc in Allied Health Sciences/ undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Commerce/Arts/Science/Law from a recognized university.

Integrated Dual Degree M.Sc. & Ph.D. Program (5 years) (Applied Physics/Applied Chemistry/Mathematics and Data Sciences)

  • Candidates should have B.Tech./B.Sc./B.E. or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks; students with an undergraduate degree with Physics/Mathematics/ Chemistry as one of the main subjects or engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply. Candidates who are pursuing graduation can also apply.

For Ph.D.

  • Candidates should have an MCA/MBA/M.Tech/ME or equivalent Master’s Degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA or M.Com/ LLM/ M.Sc./ MA or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks.
