The KMAT Kerala 2024 Notification has been Released on 30th January 2024. KMAT Kerala 2024 is a state-level management entrance exam conducted twice a year by CEE Kerala. Eligible candidates with a minimum 50% bachelor’s degree can apply. 

The 3-hour computer-based test has four sections: English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge. The exam is out of 720 marks, with a 72 minimum qualifying mark for the general category. Results are expected in June 2024, followed by counselling for MBA program admissions.

KMAT Kerala 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum marks in graduation: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in graduation. However, there is a relaxation for candidates in the SC/ST category, for whom the minimum aggregate marks required are 45 per cent.
  • Master’s degree: Candidates with a master’s degree can also apply for the examination. The master’s degree must be in a recognised university and obtained with at least 50% marks. Again, this criterion is relaxed for SC/ST candidates, who must have a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Final-year graduation students: Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor’s degrees and are in their final year of study are also eligible to apply for the examination. This is because many candidates may be completing their undergraduate education at the time of application but will have completed it by the time they enrol in the examination.

KMAT Kerala 2024 Exam Pattern

The KMAT Kerala 2023 exam is a state-level online entrance exam. It consists of 180 multiple-choice questions divided into four sections: 

Ability and Reading Comprehension (50 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions), Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning (50 questions) and General Knowledge and Current Affairs (30 questions). The exam is 2.5 hours long (150 minutes). 

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Four marks are awarded for every correct answer. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The total marks of the exam are 720.
