Manipur NEET Counseling 2020 Registration will be started in June 2020. The Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur is responsible for conducting the Counselling of NEET 2020 in the State of Manipur.

The counseling will be commencing after the declaration of NEET Results. The seats remaining after the 15% seats of All India Quota Counselling will be converted to the 85% state quota seats.

The counseling for 85% state quota seats of Medical and dental courses. Candidates seeking admission in MBBS/BDS Medical colleges can apply for state government and private medical and dental colleges and universities through counseling.

The candidate who is qualified in NEET-UG 2020 and eligible for admission will be called for the counseling in the state. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of Merit list and college preferences. The counseling will be organized through offline mode at the counseling centers. It is important for candidates to present in person along with the original documents for the document verification process.

The application form must be filled by the candidates and it must be submitted before the last date of submission. Counseling is done in many rounds, it depends on the total number of vacant seats.

Admission Procedure for Manipur NEET Counselling 2020

• The state authority is responsible to prepare the state merit list, according to the merit list the candidates will be invited for the counseling process to provide admission in Medical and Dental colleges.
• On the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the NEET-UG examination, the seat allotment is done for the candidates.
• The seats will be allotted as per the choices filled by the candidates and it will be announced on the website.
• The candidates are allowed to fill the choice and lock it after the verification of all required documents.
• When the seat allotted to the candidates, they need to report the allotted college for admission between the specified date and time.
• Candidates have to present in person at the time counseling center on the given date and time. If a candidate fails to report at allotted college, then their seats will be canceled.

Reservation Criteria for Manipur NEET Counselling 2020

The reservation of seats is provided as per the norms and rules of the Government of Manipur. Candidates have to produce the relevant documents for getting seats as per the reservation criteria. The reservation criteria in the state medical and dental colleges of Manipur are as follows:

• Other Backward Class: 17%
• Scheduled Caste: 2%
• General category: 50%
