MERI 2023 Application Form will be Released. MERI stands for Marine Engineering and Research Institute. This institute was also known as the Directorate of Marine Engineering Training and it was found at the start of independence in 1947. The institute has its head office in Kolkata and the branch is in Mumbai.

Candidates will get admission in the 3-year course leading to B.Sc. (Nautical Sciences) Degree at T.S. Chanakya, Navi Mumbai, 4-year Marine Engineering Degree at Marine Engineering & Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata, and 3-year Polyvalent B.Sc. (Maritime Sciences) Degree at Marine Engineering & Research Institute (MERI), Mumbai through JEE examination or MERI entrance examination.

MERI 2023 Application Form

 Candidates are advised to read the full information brochure carefully and then proceed to fill the MERI 2023 Application Form. Candidates have to fill and submit the MERI 2023 application before the due dates mentioned. The application form will be available from the official websites as mentioned (www.imu.tn.nic.im).

Candidates can go through the application form details which we have mentioned below:

• Institute will release the MERI Entrance Exam 2023 Application form on the online official portal.
• Candidates can apply for MERI Entrance Exam 2023 Application form in online/offline mode.
• Aspirants have to write all mandatory details personal and qualification details etc.
• Affix the recent photograph/signature in the prescribed format.

MERI 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The information related to the eligibility criteria is listed below for the applicant’s reference:

Qualifying Exam: HSC exams from a recognized board like the state board must be completed by the applicant who wants to appear for the entrance exam.

Subject: The applicants also must have appeared for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and English in SSC & HSC.

Minimum Marks: The applicants from the general & OBC category should secure at least 60% or more score in total in the HSC examination. The applicants from the ST & SC category should secure at least 55% or more score in total in the HSC examination.

Age Criteria: The applicant (general category) should not be more than 30 or 35 years of age at the time of admission.

MERI 2023 Exam Pattern

The information related to the paper pattern is listed below for the applicant’s reference:

• The entrance exam will be conducted in two different languages – Hindi & English
• The applicant will be able to select the language at the time of filling the application form.
• The entrance exam question paper will have multiple sections such as MCQ type questions, reasoning, analytical along test comprehension.
• The entrance exams will be a combination of two tests.
• The applicants will get 3 hours to solve the paper for each test.
• There will be no negative marking concept for this entrance exam

• Mathematics

MERI 2023 Syllabus

The syllabus is still not defined but it will have some basic subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and So, applicants can at least prepare on these subjects.

MERI 2023 Admit Card

The information related to the admit card is listed below for the applicant’s reference:

The applicants have to download the admit card and then print it. The applicants will not be allowed to appear for the exam without the hall ticket.

The hall ticket has to be carried along with an additional government id for verification. A copy of the admit card will be required at the time of counseling. The admit card will be available only if the form was submitted successfully.

MERI 2023 Result

The information related to the scorecard is listed below for the applicant’s reference:

The applicants have to download the scorecard and then print it. The results will be published on the website and the notification will also be available for the same.

The exact result dates are still not declared by the authorities at the university. The applicants will be able to get admission only on the basis of their results and scores achieved in the entrance exam.

Applicants have to carry a copy of the result while visiting the counselling center.

MERI 2023 Counseling

Those applicants are shortlisted in the merit list; they will be called out for the counseling session and on the provided schedule through authority candidates have to present there with required documents for verification.

There will be document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment. The seat will be provided to the candidates in various institutes after completing this admission procedure.
