NIT Mizoram Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon.  National Institute Of Technology (NIT), Mizoram established in 2010, as an autonomous university.

NIT was established under the NIT Act, 2007 which has its courses affiliated under AICTE.

The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level programs to the students. NIT Mizoram Admissions is based on the score received on the JEE Main entrance examination.

NIT Mizoram 2024 Application Form

NIT Mizoram Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon. Candidates have to register online for JEE Main. They must fill in the details required in the application form correctly.

It is compulsory to transfer a scanned recent photograph and other necessary documents. Applicants must pay the charge of INR 1500 (INR 750 for SC/ST/PWD) for the application form. The payment can be done online via net banking or debit card or through e-challan.

For M.Tech:

Applicants need to sign up for the GATE examination must be done through GOAPS. They can visit the corresponding Zonal GATE Offices’ website for registration.

For the filling up of the application form, applicants should provide the below-mentioned list of documents:

• Candidate’s personal details
• Postal Address
• Eligibility degree related details
• Postal address of the college
• GATE center opted by the applicant
• Scanned copy of Category/PwD Certificate (if required) in PDF format issued by the competent authority
• Scanned copies of the candidate’s signature, photograph, and thumb impression (left hand)
• Copy and details of valid identity proof
• Net banking details
• Scanned copy of grade cards and degree certificate
• For Ph.D., candidates will be able to download the application form from the official website. The Demand Draft should be set out in favor of “Director, NIT Mizoram” payable at SBI, Bawngkawn Branch, Aizawl.
• The application form along with the necessary documents and demand draft should reach the respective “Heads of the Department, NIT Mizoram, Chaltlang (Dawrkawn), Aizawl, Mizoram –796012”. The envelope is supposed to be superscribed as “Application for admission into the Ph.D. program in the Department

NIT Mizoram 2024 Admissions Process

• NIT Aizawl offers Ph.D. in 5 specializations in the areas of Science, Arts & Engineering. The minimum eligibility to submit an application is a Master’s degree in the relevant field or a valid GATE score.
• The admissions are conducted on the basis of an entrance examination and personal interview. For the completion of the doctoral program, before you submit a thesis it is obligatory for the students to submit the synopsis of the thesis together with its draft copy to the Doctoral Committee (DC).
• NIT Aizawl is offering M.Tech in 3 areas. The intake capacity for M.Tech is 10 seats. It is mandatory for the candidates to hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) as a precondition to qualify for admission procedure.
• The admission is made based on an in force on the score/rank in GATE. The institute enrolls students in its M.Tech programs through a Centralized Counselling (CCMT). CCMT is a web-based admission procedure common for all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs).
• Following the entrance examination, selected candidates are being called for the counseling round.
• Candidates must appear and qualify for the JEE Main entrance examination
• During extraordinary circumstances, a student might be admitted to a B.Tech program as a transfer case by a different branch of NIT. The granting of transfer is strictly not permitted in the first semester of a course.
• If the institute searches for the candidates incapable of fulfilling any of the requirements quoted by the JoSAA / Institute, the admission will be cancelled immediately.
