NIT Nagaland Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon. National Institute of Technology (NIT), Dimapur is set in Dimapur, Nagaland. It was created in 2010. The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of Engineering and Technology.

The selection procedure shall be merit-based. Candidates must have completed senior secondary school starting in CBSE or any acknowledged board of school education to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria for membership in Bachelor’s degree programs. For admission to the M.Tech program, applicants should have earned an undergraduate degree in the field of science/technology from a known university which is the minimum eligibility criteria in order to register and fill in the application forms.

NIT Nagaland 2024 Application Form

NIT Nagaland Admission 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon. Candidates must submit an application and register online on the institute’s website. Once the result of JEE Main/ GATE is declared, then the candidates may update their score on the website by using their login credentials and to apply for the desired course.

Candidates can apply immediately after the result of their entrance exam if they have a current score.

NIT Reservation

• The university follows reservations as per the guidance issued by the government.
• To avail admission to a reserved seat, an applicant must be able to produce all the required documents to prove that they are eligible for the procedure.

Candidates must appear and be eligible for the JEE Mains entrance examination to get eligible for an admission procedure to the Bachelor’s degree programs that are provided by the institute.

• While It Is In special circumstances, a student might be admitted to an under the graduate program as a transfer case by another branch of NIT. The provision of transfer is strictly prohibited in the first semester of a course.
• If the institute finds the candidate incapable of fulfilling any of the requirements mentioned by the JoSAA/Institute, the Dean (Academic), his/her admission will be prompt.

NIT Nagaland 2024 Admissions Process

The institute offers M.Tech in 4 specializations. NIT Dimapur joins students to its M.Tech. programs through a Centralized Counselling (CCMT).

The CCMT has an online admission procedure common to all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs). As per the Core Committee’s decision, the counseling for the postgraduate programs will start from the second week of April. The admission occurs through the GATE Entrance Examination.

After the entrance examination, selected applicants are called upon for the counseling round.NIT Dimapur offers 4-year Bachelor’s degree programs in 6 various branches. Candidate should have completed senior secondary school examination from the Science stream with Mathematics as a mandatory subject.

Admissions are carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the JEE Mains Entrance examination. The expectation is that the applicant must comply with the medical requirements as mentioned in the JEE Main informational brochure of JEE (Main) / or regulation mentioned by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

Scholarship

• The university encourages praiseworthy students by giving out awards.
• Tuition Fee exemption of 100% rewarded to SC/ ST/ PH students.
• For General and OBC students whose annual family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum, there is the full remission of the tuition fee.
• Additionally, there is another scholarship for college students belonging to the General and OBC category, which involves the remission of two-third of their tuition fee between an amount the assortment of Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakh annually.
