Odisha NEET CounsellingOdisha NEET Counseling 2021 Counseling Registration will be started in November 2021. The NEET Counselling 2021 in the state of Odisha will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. The Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 will be commencing from June 2021 after the declaration of the result.

Counseling is done to offer admission in the state MBBS and BDS programs will be offered only through NEET scorecard.

Only qualified candidates will be considered for Counseling. The counseling will be done for 85% of total seats in Government and Private Medical/ Dental Colleges except for deemed universities.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 Procedure

Odisha NEET Counseling 2021 Registration will be started in November 2021. The Counseling Procedure is done through online mode. The authority will release the state merit list of qualified candidates; they will be called for the counseling process.

Counseling will be done based on the ranks obtained by the candidates. The candidates have to register themselves on the website.

The candidates who will register on the website only will be eligible to participate in all rounds of counseling.

After the payment of the application fee, the registration will be successful. The counseling procedure will start after filling in the choices and locking it.

The counseling will be conducted and seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates. To confirm the seats in the colleges, candidates have to report to the allotted college and confirm their seats.

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha NEET Counselling 2021

  • The candidate’s age limits a minimum of 17 years of age and there will be no upper age limit.
  • The candidate must have the domicile of Odisha, and he/she must provide a Nativity certificate during certificate verification.
  • He/she must have passed the 12th class examination with a minimum of in total and must have subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology.
  • The SC/ST category candidates and physically challenged candidates, the minimum 40% marks.

Admission Procedure for Odisha NEET Counselling 2021

  • The qualified candidates first have to register themselves on the website and fill the application form.
  • Then fill in the choices of colleges and courses and lock it.
  • Documents will be verified after the registration; the candidates will receive a provisional admission letter from the OJEE cell along with acknowledgment of submitted documents.
  • Candidates can take provisional admission by filling the admission fee.
  • The seat allotment will be based on rank and choice preferences.
  • After the final counseling, OJEE will send the admitted candidates list along with the admission fees to the concerned institution.
  • Candidates have to report to the allotted college to confirm the admission and seat within the specified date and time.

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12%
  • Scheduled Cast (SC): 8%
  • Physically Challenged (PC): 3% of each category
  • Ex-Servicemen (ES): 3%
  • Green Card Holders (GC): 5%
