RLINS Admission Application Form has been Released on 24th November 2023. RL Institute of Nautical Science (RLINS) will release the official notification on online mode at RLINS, rlins.edu.in. RL Institute of Nautical Science has been approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India, Mumbai Tamil Nadu.

It offers admission into B. Tech in Marine Engineering, Graduate Marine Engineering, Electro-Technical Officer Course (Residential, High Voltage Safety & Switch Gear (HVSSG), and Orientation Course for Catering Personnel.

• On the official website at www.imu.edu.in, candidates interested can fill up the RLINS Admission 2024 application form. 
• The RLINS Admission 2024 Application Form should be filled and submitted before or till the due dates. 
• Institute will not accept any registration form after the scheduled date as released on official under any circumstances.
• Write the details in the form which are he/she their personal, qualification details, Email ID & contact information, etc. 
• Affix the color passport size photograph & signature of candidates in described size & dimension in form.   

Application Fee:

• The Application fees is Rs 1030/- (for General Candidates) and Rs 730/- (for SC/ST category). 
• Candidates will have to remit the amount using the online mode via debit/credit card, Net banking etc.

RLINS Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding RLINS Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:  

• Nationality: Indian & Foreign National candidates are eligible to apply.
• Qualification: B.Tech (Marine Engineering) – candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examination (12th) or equivalent exam from any recognized Board and have to secure at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and in 10th or 12th class have to secure at least 50% marks in English subjects.
• Graduate Marine Engineering- candidate’s needs to hold a Degree in (Mechanical/Marine/Naval Architecture) from any of the AICTE recognized Institute with securing at least 50% aggregate marks. In Class 10th or Class 12th or in Degree candidates have to acquire 50% marks in English.
• Electro-Technical Officers- candidates will need to complete the Senior Secondary Examination / +2 / or equivalent exam from any recognized board with acquiring at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics, in 10th or 12th class have to secure at least 50% marks in English subjects. And have to pass a Diploma which should of 3 yrs. in any of one (from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.).
• Orientation Course for Catering Personnel- 10th or 12th class passed candidates from any recognized board with securing at least 40% aggregate marks. In English (minimum 40% marks) needs to be secured at the 10th or 12th class. Candidates will need to hold a Degree or Diploma or Certificate from any University/ institution recognized by the state board in any one of (Hospitality and Hotel Administration, Catering, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism) which should be at least of six months.
