TISSNET Cut OffTISSNET is popularly known as the Tata Insititute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test and this entrance test is managed by the Tata Insititute of Social Sciences to offer admission to the applicants in Master’s Degree programs.

DTA – Social Work in Dalit and Tribal Studies and Action Graduation from any discipline
DSA – Social Work in Disability Studies and Action Preference for candidates with a graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, and Disability rehabilitation-related fields. Graduates with at least 2 years of experience in the field of social welfare will be preferred.
LE – Social Work in Livelihoods and Entrepreneurship Graduation from any discipline
MH – Social Work in Mental Health Graduation from any discipline
PH – Social Work in Public Health Graduation from any discipline
WCP – Social Work in Women Centred Practice Graduation from any discipline
GL – Globalisation and Labour Graduation from any discipline
HRM – Human Resources Management and Labour Relations Graduation from any discipline
SE – Social Entrepreneurship Graduation from any discipline
HE – Health Administration Candidates should have:

  • Completed three years of a graduate degree in any discipline, or
  • Four years of a graduate degree in medicine, paramedical sciences, or other four years program like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering
  • Complete their internship on or before June 11, 2021.
  • Candidates who are in their final year in the Bachelor’s degree program are not eligible to apply.
HO – Hospital Administration Candidates should have:

  • Completed three years of a graduate degree in any discipline, or
  • Four years of a graduate degree in medicine, paramedical sciences, or other four years program like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering
  • Complete their internship on or before June 11, 2018.
  • Candidates who are in their final year in the Bachelor’s degree program are not eligible to apply.
PHHP – Public Health in Health Policy, Economics, and Finance Candidates should have:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline, or,
  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine, paramedical or other four years program like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering.
  • Completed their internship on or before June 11, 2021.
  • Candidates who are in their final year in the Bachelor’s degree program are not eligible to apply.
PHSE – Public Health in Social Epidemiology Candidates should have:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline, or,
  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine, paramedical or other four years program like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering.
  • Completed their internship on or before June 11, 2021.
  • Candidates who are in their final year in the Bachelor’s degree program are not eligible to apply.
DS – Development Studies Graduation from any discipline
WS – Women’s Studies Graduation from any discipline
EE – Education (Elementary) Graduation from any discipline

CCSS – Climate Change and Sustainability Studies Graduation from any discipline
RG – Regulatory Governance Graduation from any discipline
WPG – Water Policy & Governance Graduation from any discipline
DM – Disaster Management Graduation from any discipline
APCP – Applied Psychology with specialization in Counselling Psychology
  • Candidate should have completed:
  • B.A. Psychology
  • B.A./ B.Sc. Home Sciences with specialization in Child/ Human Development
  • B.A. in Social Work
  • B.A. General with a minimum of 3 papers in Psychology
  • Candidates who will appear for their final year B.A. examination in 2019, with the above subjects, and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
