UPESEAT 2024 Counseling will be started in June 2024. The Selection Process Schedule will be released in the 1st week of June 2024. UPES, Dehradun is the driving authority of UPESEAT 2024. The UPESEAT Entrance Exam is an entrance exam to the university. University level. Through this exam, candidates can obtain admission in various specializations of the B.Tech Engineering course.

Admissions will also be provided by the JEE Hands National Entrance Exam and by merit of the Council. The university itself will provide admission advice in the courses it offers.

UPESEAT 2024 Counseling – Starting in June

UPESEAT Counseling 2024

UPES will provide centralized advice for admission to B.Tech programs. The advice will be organized via the offline mode. The university will invite the candidates to advise based on the merit list. Seats will be allocated to the JEE Main 2024 ranking (10% of seats), Council merit holders (10% of seats), and UPESEAT merit holders (80% of seats). Court grades are the minimum qualifications a candidate must qualify for counselling.

A separate evaluation will be conducted for the Main JEE holders and the UPESEAT qualifiers. The candidate must be present at the counselling centre onboard day. The UPESEAT 2024 Cup will be published on the site via online mode. Candidates can access it after a few days of the written exam. Applicants must register on the official website to participate in the evaluation within the time limit.

The seats will be allocated to the participating candidates according to their preferences and ranges. The council will occur in several centres, such as Dehradun, Delhi, Lucknow, and Patna. On the day of the consultation, it is necessary to check the documents since, without this process, the candidate will not be allowed to continue with the admission procedure.

UPESEAT 2024 Counseling Procedure

• UPESEAT 2024 Counseling will be conducted as Centralized Counseling.
• Candidates have to register on the official website to participate in the counselling.
• 80% of the seats will be filled through the UPESEAT Entrance Exam, and 20% will be filled through JEE Mains and Board’s merit. After registration, the candidates will be called for counselling at the specified venue.
• Candidates have to reach the allotted venue on a given date and time.
• Based on the candidate’s ranks, they will be allowed for choice filling.
• Before proceeding to choice filling, candidates have to verify their original documents.
• The seats will be allotted based on candidates’ filled choices, ranks, and availability.

Documents Required for Counselling

The list of documents given below should be self-attested. Candidates must carry the original documents and one set of photocopies on the counselling day for document verification.

Without producing the original documents, candidates will not be allowed for the further admission procedure.

• 10th mark sheet and passing certificate
• 12th mark sheet and passing certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Demand Draft of prescribed fees in favour of “UPES Fee Account” payable at Dehradun.
• Four passport size photograph
