• Qualification: Class 12th examination from a recognized Indian board.
• Marks: Minimum 60% marks (50% for reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
• Subject: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology at Intermediate level.
• Appearing: Students appearing in class 12th are eligible.

For Integrated M.Tech:

• Nationality: Indian resident.
• Qualification: Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
• Marks: Minimum 65% aggregate marks (60% for reserved category) in class 12th exam.
• Subject: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
• Age Limit: Born on or after 1st July 2005.

VIT AP 2025 Admission Procedure

The admission procedure for VIT AP in 2025 will be conducted exclusively in online mode. For the B.Tech course, selection will be merit-based, determined by the candidate’s rank in the entrance exam (VITEEE 2025).

For other programs, admission will be granted based on the merit list of the qualifying examination. The university will release a list of shortlisted candidates in the second week of June 2025. VIT AP 2025 Entrance Exam (VITEEE)

VIT AP University administers the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE), aimed at facilitating admission to undergraduate engineering programs within the university.

Candidates are allowed a single attempt at the VITEEE exam. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes, comprising 125 Multiple Choice Questions. The medium of examination is exclusively English.

Candidates who achieve a CGPA of 9.0 or above in the entrance exam or qualifying exam will be eligible for a 100% full merit scholarship for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Additionally, merit scholarships will be awarded based on the candidate’s performance in academic reports and personal interviews conducted by the university.

Students who attain a CGPA of 8.0 or 80% and above in their three years of undergraduate qualifying examination will receive a 50% scholarship. Additionally, the university will offer an additional 25% scholarship specifically for female students.

VIT AP 2025 Counselling Procedure

The VIT AP counselling for 2025 will be conducted in five phases via online mode, encompassing the entire VIT group of Institutions. Selected students can participate in the counselling process by paying a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 5,900/-.
