WBUT PGET stands for West Bengal University of Technology Postgraduate Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance test conducted annually by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

Through this exam, candidates can enter into Post Graduate courses in Engineering/Technology. As per the merit list published by the authority, admission will be given.

WBUT PGET 2024 Application Form

• To pursue a postgraduate level course in the field of Engineering/Technology from WBUT PGET, a candidate must fill out the registration application form.
• The university will release the application form with the prospectus online and offline.
• Complete the details with personal and qualification details etc.
• After that upload, the recent photograph of Size should be between 20 KB – 50 KB, and the signature should be between 10 KB – 30 KB in JPG /JPEG format.

Application Fee:

• Candidates must remit the application fees using credit card/debit card/Internet Banking.
• Candidates belonging to OBC / General category have to pay 600/-, and SC / ST category needs to submit 300/- as application fees.

WBUT PGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding WBUT PGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply.
• Qualification: Candidates who want to apply must clear the Bachelor’s Degree (in Engineering/Technology/Architecture) and should have an M.Sc degree (appropriate branches).
• Age limit: there are no age criteria mentioned to apply.
• To apply in M.Tech in Bioinformatics, candidates of (E./B.Tech. (Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering), M.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Bio-sciences) and B.Pharma) needs to clear the Higher Secondary (10+2 level) examination with securing 60% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (any two), in B.Sc (in Honours) with 50% marks, in M.Sc55% marks and 7.25 CGPA (65%) in B. Tech.
• To enter Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Software Engineering, Microelectronics & VLSI Technology, and Information Technology, aspirants need to hold the Bachelor’s degree in engineering (CSE, ECE, ECTE, IT, EI, EE or M.Sc. in CS/IT/Electronics/Physics) or equivalent exam with securing a minimum of 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA with point grading system 7 in the basis of 10.0.

• Authority has released the WBUT PGET 2024 Application form online and offline.
• In the form, write the details such as Name, Father/Mother Name, Gender, Aadhaar Cards, Birth Date, Mobile/Phone Number, Qualification details of 10^th, 12^th and relevant degree, and Certificate, etc.
• Pay the application fee online, which is a credit card, debit card or net banking or through the demand draft in favour of WBUT-PGET payable at Kolkata.
• Complete the form, submit it, and take the printed copies for further reference.
