AGMC 2024: Application (Out Soon), Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

AGMC 2024 Application Form will be Started Soon. AGMC stands for Agartala Government Medical College.  Those candidates are interested to get admission in the UG course and the MD/MS course for the PG courses, they can fill the Application Form online mode from the official website of Agartala Government Medical College.

Applicants who want to the MBBS course can join AGMC as this college has a lot of facilities in it for the students. The complete course for the MBBS is divided into 3 parts and the tenure required will be a total of four and a half years.

The 1st part of the course includes subjects like Biochemistry, Anatomy & Physiology. The 2nd part of the course includes the knowledge of Forensic medicines, Pathology (Helps to understand the causes and effects of any diseases), pharmacology (Helps to understand the properties of medicines), and microbiology (helps to understand microorganisms). The 3rd part includes knowledge about gynaecology & Pediatrics, Community & ENT medicine, ophthalmology, Surgery & General Medicine.

AGMC 2024 Application Form 

The AGMC 2024 Application Form for the AGMC can be filled out online and offline as well. Applicants need to visit the official website agmc.nic.in to fill the application. Applicants have to register themselves on the official website by entering the mandatory details.

• Once the registration is completed successfully the applicants will get the login credentials.
• The applicants then have to log in with the credentials and then click on the application link.
• The application will open in a new page.
• The applicants then have to fill the complete application form with accurate information.
• Once the application form is filled the applicants also have to attach the scanned copies of the latest passport size photo with the signature and the left thumb impression.

AGMC 2024 Application Fee

Applicants also have to pay the application fee of Rs 350/- (Can be paid online & Offline also).
Lastly, the applicants should recheck the application before submitting the form as there will be no corrections allowed later.

AGMC 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualification: Candidates must have pass the Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination or equivalent (10+2 Higher Secondary Examination) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or any other elective subjects with English from as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training which should be in a pattern in 10^th, 12th and 13^th year as recommended by the National Committee on education.

Candidates of the Tripura State quota have to clean the Joint entrance examination held by Tripura Board JEE.

Minimum marks: The applier needs to secure a minimum 50% and pass in English, Physics, chemistry, and Biology individually and candidates who belong to SC/ST or OBC have to secure 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying exam.

Age limit: no age limit is prescribed by the authority to apply.

Candidates have to meet all conditions fixed by the authority to apply in AGMC

AGMC 2024 Exam Pattern

Below is the information on the paper pattern.

• The question paper will be set in English.
• The questions paper will have 100 MCQ-type questions. 
• Applicants will be given 2 hours to solve the paper.
• The applicants will be able to achieve 4 marks for each correct answer.
• Fifty percent of the questions in the paper will be from Pre & Para – Clinical subjects
• Fifty Percent of the questions in the paper will be from Clinical Subjects.

Exam preparation tips:

• Before starting preparation, you should analyze the syllabus prescribed for the examination.
• Prepare a good timetable as per your daily schedule and include all the topics of the syllabus in your preparations.
• Refer the best preparation books and other study materials available in the market or on the internet.
• Practice from previous year question papers and sample papers to know more about the exam pattern
• Mark all the important topics of the syllabus and prepare short notes and revise them at the end of preparations.
• Don’t take stress while preparing for the exam and take a healthy & nutritious diet.
• Manage your time for some exercise and yoga it will keep you fit and healthy

As the complete course is divided into 3 parts the exams will also be scheduled in the same way:

Syllabus subjects for the Exams (1^st part): Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Community Medicine.

Syllabus subjects for the Exams (2nd part): Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, General Medicine, and allied subjects (including Tuberculosis & Respiratory disease, Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy and Psychiatry ), General Surgery and allied subjects ( including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Radio-Diagnosis, Radio-Therapy, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Dentistry ), Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics.

Syllabus subjects for the Exams (3rd part): Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, General Medicine and allied subjects (including Tuberculosis & Respiratory Disease, Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy, and Psychiatry ), General Surgery and allied subjects ( including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Radio-Diagnosis, Radio-Therapy, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Dentistry ), Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics.

AGMC 2024 Admit Card

AGMC 2024 PG Admit Card will be released soon. Applicants will be able to download it from the official website.

Admit card is a mandatory document. Applicants must carry admit cards on exam time. Without an admit card applicants will not be able to attend the examination.

Applicants have to download it themselves, the authority will not be dispatched it to anyone’s house. The result will be declared after the conducted examination.

The result will be available on the official website. Appeared applicants will be able to check the result. The result will be prepared on the basis of applicants’ obtained marks in the examination.

Applicants who will be declared qualified in the examination will be called for further processing of admission.

AGMC 2024 Result

The release date for the results will be announced on the official website. Applicants will have to log in with their registration number in order to get their results.

Results will be available on the official website a few days after the examination is completed. It is also advised to keep extra printed copies of the results as they will be required in future.

AGMC 2024 Counselling

The selection for the counseling depends on the merit list.

• SC, ST or Category I Certificate if applicable.
• Income Certificate.
• Certificate of Bonafide Residency.
• Character Certificate.
