• Domicile: Those applicants who hold a valid domicile certificate of Andhra Pradesh state are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Primary Teachers

• Educational Qualification: The applicants will be eligible to apply for the entrance exam if they have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary Education from a recognized university or institution.
• Minimum Marks: The applicants must have completed their qualifying exam with not less than 45 % marks to apply for the entrance exam.
• Appearing applicants: The applicants who are appearing for the final year of 2 ^{– the} year of Diploma in elementary education or 4 – the year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.) or 2 – a year of Diploma in Education (special education) are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Upper Primary Teachers

• Educational Qualification: The applicants will be eligible to apply for the entrance exam if they have completed BA / B. Sc. / B. Com. Degree or have completed Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) course / Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. – Special Education) from a recognized university or institution.
• Minimum Marks: The applicants must have completed their qualifying exam with not less than 50 % marks to apply for the entrance exam.
• Appearing Applicants: The applicants who are appearing for the 4 years of B. A. Ed. / B. Sc. Ed. Course or graduation degree or Bachelor of Oriental Language or Graduation in Literature or Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate / B. Ed. Language concerned as one of the Methodologies are also eligible to apply for the eligibility test.

AP TET 2023 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be organized in offline mode as written test pen and paper-based.
