GSIB 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding GSIB 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualification: Candidates must have passed the twelfth class and have a UG degree from a recognized board or university.

Percentage: Candidates should secure a minimum of 50%marks in the second class or (equivalent CGPA) at Under-Graduate levels. To apply to PGDBA, candidates must secure 50% Marks with a Graduate or Post Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Application, Economics, Engineering/Technology, Statistics, and Mathematics. Applicants must pass Under Graduate Courses in Mathematics, Commerce, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration & Technology streams, etc., or PGDBA courses to apply for MBA courses.

Age limit: no age limit is prescribed by the authority to apply. Applicants in the final year are also eligible to apply for this exam. (Proof of graduation is important at the time of admission)

Applicants with a good score in MAT/ GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ NMAT are eligible to apply directly for admission.

GSIB Entrance Test Application Process 2024

Registration begins in November, and the written test is conducted in the last week of January. The exact dates will be announced later this year.

• Here are the steps to fill out the application form:
• Log on to the official website and go to the admission tab.
• Click on Apply and fill up the form.
• The candidates must remember they need to fill every field marked mandatory (*)
• Incomplete forms will be rejected.
• The duly filled form should carry the correct information, as it will be cross-checked later in the admission process.

Payment of the application fee of Rs 1000 can be made online through credit/debit cards and net banking or Demand Draft (DD). For payment through DD, the application has to be downloaded from the official website and submitted duly filled-in, enclosing a DD for Rs.1000 in favour of “GITAM School of International Business”, payable at Visakhapatnam.

Candidates can register for getting 2019 in the same application by paying an additional fee of Rs.500. Each Shortlisted applicant will be sent a call letter by courier/post, email and SMS to attend for GD & PI along with other details like date, venue, and time slot. The final merit list will be created based on the aggregate of scoring in the written test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

Each selected applicant is sent a call letter by courier/post, e-mail, or SMS well in advance to reserve his/her seat by paying a commitment fee of Rs 50,000. Also, the list of selected applicants and the schedule of counselling with the allocation of candidates, date, venue and time slot will be posted on our website. The candidates must reserve their admission by paying a commitment fee. This fee will be adjusted towards the first instalment fee.
