CUSAT CAT 2023 Application Form will be available in February 2023. The University conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to B.Tech and several other PG courses, the Lateral Entrance Test (LET) for admission to lateral entry programs, and Admission Test departmental (DAT) for the doctoral program. The CUSAT CAT 2023 Application Form will be started from February to March 2023 (without a late fee). The application form will be posted online on CUSAT’s official admission website. Students can also access the direct link from here to complete the online application form (the link is provided above).

It is not necessary to send a document to the University address except for candidates who apply based on the GATE score for M.Tech or any MBA aptitude management test. It is necessary that these candidates send a paper copy of their dashboard to the official electronic identification before the last submission date of the online application.

How to Fill CUSAT 2023 Application Form

The steps that candidates need to follow for filling the CUSAT 2023 application form are mentioned below:

Step-1: Online Registration/Login ID Creation

Step-1.1: Visit Official Link

• Go to the official website of CUSAT (link is given above).
• Click on “New Candidate Registration”.

Step-1.2: Fill Registration Form

• Enter registration details that include name, date of birth, age, e-mail address, and mobile number.
• Choose a username of at least 6 characters, up to a maximum of 15 characters.
• There are three options available on the login page, the first choice for candidates from India and NRI, a second option for lateral candidates, and the third option for international candidates / OIP / children of Gulf of India workers.
• Choose the appropriate option.
• After completing all the details, send your data.
• In the successful submission of the registration form, a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to the
• registered email ID and mobile number of the applicant.
• Log in using this password, then change your password immediately.

Step-1.3: Login Using User ID & Password

• After successfully changing the password, now candidates have to log in again with their Username & password.
• This username & password will be used throughout the application procedure. Hence, candidates are advised to keep safe their login details for further use.

Step-2: Fill in Details in the Application Form

Once connected, select the appropriate option from the three options available in the upper left corner of the page.

Now, go ahead to complete the details in the application form by following the instructions on the screen.

Complete personal and academic information: enter your name, date of birth, gender, category, father’s name, full address, etc. Also, enter the academic / qualifying data requested on the page.

Choose your exam center based on your ability to take the exam.

Upload scanned images: Candidates must upload their scanned photos and signatures into the application form in the specifications below:

The digitized color photograph of the file size between 4 KB and 100 KB and the size must be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
The scanned signature with a file size of 1 KB and 30 KB and one dimension must be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.

Step-3 Fee Payment

• Three options are available for fee payment which is debit/credit card and net banking.
• No offline mode is available for fee payment.
• Click the option “Online Payment” available on the home page of the screen. Make the payment using credit card/debit card or net banking.

Note: Candidates are advised to check their application status as “Confirmed” after three working days of the payment of fees & print the confirmation page. There is no need to send the confirmation page by post. It is just proof of your application submission.

• For General Candidates – Rs. 1000/-
• For SC/ST candidates – Rs. 500/-
• For International Candidates – US $100
• For NRI Seats – Rs. 6000/- (Rs. 5000 for NRI seats + Rs. 1000/- for general seats)
• Candidates opting to Dubai as a test center – Rs. 10,000/- in addition to the application fee.
• For Ph.D. and M Phil Programmes – Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates)
• For PDF, Diploma, Certificate Programmes – Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST candidates)

Note: Candidates applying for M Sc. and/or M BA and/or M Tech are required to submit the application by logging each time one by one with the same username and password. No separate application fee will be charged.
