CUSAT 2024 CAT Admission Application Form has been Released on 27th January 2024. CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) is academically structured into nine faculties: Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Sciences & Technology, Science, Social Sciences, and Technology.
The CUSAT CAT is the entrance exam, which is conducted by Cochin University. Cochin University is located in Kerala and conducts a CUSAT annual examination for admission into its various graduate and postgraduate engineering courses.
CUSAT has at present, 27 Departments of study and research offering Graduate and Post Graduate programmers across a wide spectrum of disciplines in frontier areas of engineering, science, technology, humanities, law & management.

The Procedure of Admission in CUSAT CAT 2024
CUSAT University conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT) to provide admission to the UG, PG, and PhD programs of the university. CAT 2024 will be organized for the B.Tech Program and all other PG programs. The online registration will be started on 10th March 2024. CUSAT 2024 Application Form
The application forms for CUSAT 2024 are available only online for a candidate from the university’s official website. - After completing these details, candidates have to move towards fee payment; candidates can pay their fees by using a credit/debit card or by using bank DD (drawn in favour of Registrar, CUSAT, and payable at Ernakulam); candidates can draw DD from any nationalized bank of the country.
- The application fee is Rs. 1100/- for the general candidates and Rs. 500/- for the SC/ST candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria regarding CUSAT 2024 will be mentioned below:
- The candidates applying for the exam should be Indian citizens only.
- For B. Tech course, the candidates must have passed the 12th or its equivalent from any recognized board in Kerala with 50% marks in mathematics and 50% aggregate in PCM.
- For Marine Engineering, the candidates must have passed the 12th or its equivalent from Kerala with 60% marks in mathematics and aggregate 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, chemistry, and English (50% for candidates of SC/ST category).
- Candidates with diploma/vocational courses are not eligible for the Marine Engineering course.
- For Marine Engineering, a candidate’s age should be less than 25 years as of 1st September of the year of admission.
- The candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories will be eligible for all engineering courses except Marine Engineering if they have secured passing marks in the qualifying examination.
CUSAT 2024 Admit Card
The CUSAT Admit Card will be provided in April 2024. The admit card is the mandatory document for the examination, so the candidates must carry it. Those candidates will not admit cards; they will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall.
CUSAT 2024 Exam
The CUSAT Exam is Conducted in May 2024. The candidates want to take the examination of CUSAT; they can apply online on the official website of Cochin University. CUSAT 2024 Seat Allotment
Candidates have to appear for CUSAT Counselling and Seat Allotment procedures. Only the registered candidates will be eligible to appear for the CUSAT Seat Allotment procedure. The University will conduct CUSAT Seat Allotment by a candidate’s Merit Rank in the CUSAT Rank List.
Candidates must also fill up their preferred engineering branches and college choices while registering online for the CUSAT Seat Allotment.
