The HP SET is popularly known as Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test and this test is managed by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

The authority conducts this test for the post of Assistant professors in Universities and Colleges within Himachal Pradesh.

Candidates can apply for the HP SET examination by filling the application form if they are wishing to get the post of Assistant professor. HP SET Syllabus 2023 

The HP SET Exam is divided into paper 1 and paper 2 and those applicants who have applied in this examination, must have to give both examinations within 3 hours and the paper 2 Syllabus will be released on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

HP SET Exam Pattern 2023

The Exam Pattern displays the structure of the question paper and the applicants must have to prefer the Exam Pattern for the better preparation of examination. The Exam Pattern will be very helpful for the candidates.

The exam will consist of two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper-II. Check below the Exam Pattern of HP SET.

Mode of exam: Offline (mark answers in OMR sheet)
Types of questions: Objective type questions
Duration: the time duration for Paper I is 1 hour a for paper II is 2 hours.
Marking scheme: There is no negative marking.
