The HP SET consists of two papers such as Paper I and II and those candidates who want to apply for this test, must have to check the important dates mentioned below.

HP SET Application Form 2020

Those applicants are eligible and wish to get recruited for the job of Assistant Professor(s) in Universities and colleges of Himachal Pradesh State, they can fill the Application Form through online mode by visiting the official webpage. Based on the Eligibility Criteria, applicants can apply.

HP SET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates must have to check their Eligibility Criteria, which is necessary for them if they are going to fill the Application Form for this test.

• The minimum educational qualification required is a Master’s Degree or equivalent, from any UGC recognized institution.
• Master’s Degree should be obtained in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications.
• Candidates must have at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
• However, candidates belonging to SC (of HP), ST (of HP), OBC NCL (of HP), or PWD (of HP) should have at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Candidates whose results are awaited, or who are still studying for Masters Degree are also eligible to apply.
• However such candidates should get minimum marks as above, and they should complete a PG degree within 2 years of the SET result.
• If a candidate had completed the Masters’s level exam by 19 Sep 1991 and holds a Ph.D. degree, then he/she is eligible for 5% marks relaxation in the qualifying exam.
• Such candidates who have a PG Degree / Diploma certificate awarded by Indian University / Institute or foreign Degree/ diploma/certificate awarded by the Foreign University/ Institute must check the equivalence of diploma /degree/ certificate with Master’s Degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

HP SET Admit Card 2020

The HP SET Admit Card has been issued to the candidates on 10th November 2020. Candidates can download the Admit Card after logging in with the user ID and password in the required field.
