JIPMER 2023 Eligibility – Check Age Limit, Qualification Criteria Here

The Union Health Minister of India has announced that 2023 MBBS Admission will be through NEET 2023. The JIPMER MBBS 2023 is undertaken every year under the dominance of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research.

The entrance scores will be required to get admission to respective programs. The application form will be issued online at the official website.

Through this entrance exam, admission is offered in nearly 200 MBBS seats.

JIPMER Eligibility Criteria for D.M/M.Ch/Fellowship

Applicants should be Indian Nationals & Overseas Citizens of India are also eligible. [OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955, should submit proof of Registrations OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of admission failing which admission withstand canceled]

An applicant should have passed M.D./DNB Degree from any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India.

Must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council.

General Eligibilities

Nationality:

• Candidates should be Indian nationals.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI):

• OCI-registered candidates are also eligible to appear in the test.
• The candidates must submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 on the day of counselling.
• OCI candidates will be considered as unreserved category candidates.

Foreign Nationals:

• Foreign national candidates have to take permission from the Medical Council of India before applying for courses in the Institution.
• It is also necessary to submit the advance copy of an application and request to MCI at JIPMER, Puducherry, before the last date of receipt of applications.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should complete the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
• Candidates must bear on or before 1st January 2003.
• There is no relaxation in the age limit for reserved category candidates.
• There is no upper age limit.
