NEET 2023 Important Dates 

Dates for an exam are very important. The candidates who are willing to appear for the examination would easily wait for days to be released. They have them plan and repair for the exam in advance. All the important events and dates for NEET 2023 are given below.

NEET 2023 Application Form 

The application form is a very important step. Every candidate who would be willing to appear for the examination should fill out the application form. NEET 2023 application form would be released online on the official website only. 

All the candidates who would be filling out the application form are advised to fill in the correct information. Read the instructions carefully that would be mentioned in the application form. All the other important details about the Neet 2023 application form are given below. 

  • The NEET 2023 application forms will be released on the official website. 
  • The start date to submit the application form for NEET 2023 is the first week of April 2023. 
  • The last date to submit the application form for NEET 2023 is the third week of May 2023.
  • One candidate can fill out one application form. 
  • All the candidates would have to upload all the documents that would be instructed in the application form.
  • Every instruction in the application form is important so do not miss reading them. 
  • Every detail in the application form is important so avoid making any mistakes.
  • Fill in your information such as Name, Date of birth, etc correctly.
  • Note down your registration number, User ID, and Password. 
  • After you have filte the application form take a printout of it.
  • No candidate has to send the printout of the application form.

  • Left-hand and Right-hand impressions
  • Class X Passing Certificate

NEET 2023 Application Fee

After the candidates have filte the application form the next step is to pay the application fee. The application fee is mandatory for every candidate who would be appearing in the examination. The application fee is set by the examination conducting authority. 

If any candidate submits the application form without paying the application fee they would not be allowed to fear in the examination.   • General: INR 1600/-
  • General- EWS/OBC: INR 1500/-
  • SC/ST/PWD: INR 900/-
  • For candidates outside India: INR 8500/-

NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria refer to all the qualifications that are set for the candidates. This criterion is set by the examination conducting authority. And every candidate has to follow this criterion. Every candidate must go through the eligibility criteria.

It is also advised that the candidate read the eligibility criteria before this in the application form. NEET 2023 eligibility criteria are given below. 

Nationality

  • Indian candidates can apply for the examination. 
  • Foreign nationals NRIs, OCIs, and POIs are also eligible for this examination

Age limit

  • All the candidates should be 17 years old before December 31, 2023. 
  • No upper age limit is set for Neet 2023 exam. 

Education qualification

  • Candidate must have scored 50% marks in the general category and should have PCB and English as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.
  • The candidates of the reserved category should have 40% marks in PCB.
  • If a candidate has opted for Biology are a subject they can also apply for the examination

Number of attempts

  • There is no number of attempts set by the Examination Authority.

NEET 2023 Exam Pattern 

Exam pattern contains all the important information that is needed by a candidate. If you are preparing for the examination or you will prepare you should not miss out on this information. Exam patterns will help you understand what the exam would be like. 

Information like exam duration, marking scheme, negative marking, number of questions, etc would be mentioned in the exam pattern. NEET 2023 exam pattern is given below.

  • Mode: offline pen and paper mode
  • Language: This exam would be conducted in 13 different languages- Hindi, English, Odia, Assamese, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Urdu.
  • Number of questions: 200 questions out of which 180 are to be attempted
  • Marking scheme: 4 marks would be allotted for every correct answer
  • Negative marking: 1 mark would be deducted for every wrong answer and no marks would be deducted if any question is left unattempted.
  • Total marks: 720
  • Duration: 3 hours and 20 minutes

NEET 2023 Syllabus 

The syllabus is very important information for any candidate who would be appearing for the examination. Is advised that the candidates start preparing the moment they get the syllabus for the exam.

NEET 2023 Admit Card 

Admit cards would be accessible by the candidates who would I felt the application form and also prayer the application fee. If the candidate has not filled out led out the application form and also not paid the application fee they will not get access to the hat to admit card.

The candidates would get access to the admit card after they would have login into their ID. After candidates have downloaded their admit card they will need to take a printout of it. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to be exam centre. If the candidate does not carry the admit card to the exam centre they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

NEET 2023 Cut Off

Cut off marks and the minimum marks which are to be scored by the candidates. The cut of marks is set by the examination conducting authority. For the candidates to qualify for the examination they have to score more than the cut marks. 

NEET 2023 cut of marks would be released on the official website. And it would be released by NTA along with the result.

NEET 2023 Result

The result for NEET 2023 would be released on the official website only. The candidates would need to use their login details to get access to the result. The cutoff would be released along with the result by NTA.

  • Click the link that says ‘Download Scorecard for NEET UG 2023’.
  • Enter the application number for NEET 2023, date of birth, and the security pin.
  • NEET 2023 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

NEET 2023 Answer Key 

The answer key for NEET 2023 would be released after the examination is conducted. The answer key would be released only on the official website. A provisional answer key would be released before the release of the final answer key. 

Candidates who would find any problem in the provisional answer key can raise their queries. Every candidate would be challenging the answer key and would have to pay INR 200 per question challenged. After the dates questioning the provisional answer key are closed the final answer key would be released. 

NEET 2023 Counselling 

The counselling for Neet 2023 would be done with the shortlisted candidate. The counselling would be done online mode. The candidates for the counselling of NEET would be selected as per the merit list.

The counselling procedure for Neet 2023 would be based on 2 seats- AQI seats and State quota seats. For 15% AQI seat counselling, the procedure would be carried out by MCC wherein candidates from all over India can participate.

The counselling procedure for 85% of State quota seats would be conducted separately by each state to offer admissions to the candidates of that particular state only in various medical colleges.
